Great spot

Close to everything we wanted to do and see in downtown and along the trails. Quiet neighborhood and lots of room in the backyard for our dog. Fast communication with the host. House was clean and comfortable. We will be saving this listing for future trips to the area.

Great location

What a great location for a stay, moments from everything downtown, easy parking, and a quiet neighborhood. Everything was where I expected it to be, and there were no surprises. Please note (and this is only meant as an FYI and not criticism) that the beds are very high, so I can imagine if you are mobility impaired they might be difficult. Super comfortable though. The kitchen was vast, the living room comfortable, and the shower hot. All in all an excellent stay.

Great location

Beautiful older home in downtown Greenville with lot of character. Walking distance to the baseball stadium. Convenient to everything. Great outdoor space in back yard. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location but a bit noisy

Location good for walks to town. House was well stocked but could use a good general cleaning that should be done every now and then. Lots of dust on floors and kitchen cabinets and appliances need a good cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to keep up on these bigger cleaning jobs but necessary when renting out. Outside noise was better when we moved to back bedroom. It was nice sitting in shade outback. Deck furniture could be updated. Very old and one chair wicked bent. Beds okay but slightly hard if you like a soft mattress. We had a great time in Greenville. Beautiful city. Loved the falls and restaurants.

Just off the beaten path.

Easy walk to the west end and the start of beautiful downtown Greenville. Intersection has the potential to be a little noisy, but did not interrupt sleep. Modern kitchen, and all the amenities. Sleeps four but only if they are couples. Beds were very comfortable. Overall better than average experience.

Excellent stay!

We had a great time at Green Ave Cottage. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. The backyard was a great addition for my dog to run around in. This is also in a great location only a short walk to downtown Greenville!

Great Location + Clean + Fenced backyard!

What a great location! The house is very easy walking distance to Fluor Field, downtown restaurants/pubs and trails. We loved having a large, fenced backyard for ourselves and our dog. The property is very clean and has clearly been recently renovated - the kitchen feels especially spacious, especially for a 1000 sq ft house. Some other guests have commented about city sounds, and it is a busy corner, but I think if you want to be this close to downtown you have to expect that. We travel with a white noise machine and that helped at night. We didn't need to contact the host often but Johnnie was very responsive when we did. We had a great week and the location of this property can't be beat at this price point. We hope it will be available the next time we come to town.

Great house great stay!

Perfect for small groups. The entertainment options, having a large TV outside was a great addition to watch the College World Series. Easily accessible, easy in and out. Very convenient to downtown Greenville. We plan on coming back as baseball brings us back to the area!

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our trip to Greenville very much. This home was in a very good location to a number of restaurants and shopping. We also took in a game with the Drive to get the full flavor. It was all within easy walking distance. I will be back!

Wonderful stay!

The house was perfect for our trip to Greenville.The location is very convenient to West End and Fluor Field. The cottage has a lovely back yard and covered patio, and a great updated kitchen!

Great location

I and my husband have stayed at a few rental places trying to find our "spot". My husband was not with my on this stay but it still couldn't have been more welcoming and convenient. Most places allow pets but only in terms of dogs, usually. I had two very large cats with me and the owners were more than amenable. Surprising, right! I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you, again.

Convenience for all

Location is excellent, short walk / cheap Uber to everything! House is very comfortable and fenced in back yard worked great for our pup. Brought a sound machine so didn’t notice road noise, just the train and that was only 1 night of 7. Overall great stay and would recommend.

If City Living is your Vibe

The location is just outside the downtown area of Greenville which is thriving. The weather was unseasonably warm, so walks downtown were a big hit. However, along with being by the city, you also get a big helping of city noises. The hospital is located about a half mile down the road so sirens were flying by at all hours of the day and night. No problem during the day, but a little annoying during the middle of the night. The home is located at the intersection of two pretty busy streets, so there is a lot of street noise all day long. For the hard of hearing it would be fine. Unfortunately, my husband has great hearing and found the outdoor noise too present indoors. Other than that, it fit our needs perfectly.

Christmas stay in Greenville

Great time and great location in Greenville. Close to downtown - close enough to walk. Would definitely stay here again. Maybe it was because or the holiday but we didn't find it that noisy. The backyard was perfect for dogs. Too bad it was too cold for us to enjoy it!

Quick trip

My husband, son and I really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. It was perfect for our short (2 night) stay. We were able to walk to downtown which was great for us since we brought our 2 dogs. The house was fully stocked and furnished with everything we needed. The fenced backyard was awesome and the dogs loved being outside in a different area than home. We would definitely recommend this rental property!

Week stay in Greenville

Nice simple house in Greenville. Within a 10 minute walk or $8 Uber ride to everything downtown. Fenced in backyard was great for our dog. Kitchen and outside grill were nice to have for cooking. The house is on the corner of a busy street so bring ear plugs if your a light sleeper. Beds were comfy and house was clean.
