„The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay ...

„Fantastic property! Decor is simple and takes you back to 1983, but super clean and amazingly well stocked with everything you might need. Host even has snacks and drinks available! She also has jams, soaps, and honey for purchase. The dogs (Mastiffs) are super sweet and friendly. I didn't pay attention and didn't realize there is no wi-fi or TV, but it wasn't an issue for us- but just an fyi. We are parents of a JMU student so we'll be in the area in the future- we'll definitely book The Wash ...

„Great location for historic sites or Shenandoah national park. Host is very responsive, great spot with plenty to keep you busy when you've finished for the day. Great set of games, pool, ping pong, puzzles, arcade games, snacks, coffee. Enjoyed the stay and will be back if we're in the area.“
