« My husband, chihuahua and I stayed at the cottage for 4 days while in Virginia. We loved the view of the water from all the windows that allowed natural light in. We watched all the birds and crabs while sitting on the back porch. The location is great for visiting all the Historic areas. We took a segway tour and Ghost tour in Yorktown. We spent a whole day walking around in Williamsburg. Being a history buff my husband really enjoyed it. I even learned a few things. LOL I would recommend...

« Our grandchildren came for several visits and overnights. It was great. The cottage is very user friendly and was quiet. The surrounding areas uncluding paddock was a bonus for our Shetland sheepdogs. The walking trails were fine. We had a fantastic stay. »

« Wonderful property with excellent views of Mobjack Bay. Two ospreys nesting right off the end of the dock, and a green heron visiting a tree on the property were a treat. The only downside is that the 2 bedrooms are very unequal in terms of comfort and views. If you are 2 adult couples, one will have significantly inferior quarters. Otherwise excellent. And really good recommendations for local restaurants. »
