Some of the best fishing in Louisiana is just minutes from your door. Enjoy easy access to Lake Calcasieu (Big Lake) for incredible inshore fishing, or head south for an offshore fishing adventure.

You'll have full access to our private waterfront pier and boat dock. The pier is shared only with our sister camp next door and may be used by guests staying there during your visit.
Bring the rods, drop a crab line, or simply sit outside and enjoy being on the water.

Visiting during duck season? Southwest Louisiana is home to world-class duck hunting, making The Swanderosa a great place for your hunting group to call home.

Looking for a change of pace? Golden Nugget Lake Charles is approximately 30 minutes away, where you can enjoy dining, entertainment, and casino gaming. The Golden Nugget also offers waterfront access, making it possible to incorporate a boat trip into your Lake Charles outing.

The home also includes free Wi-Fi and Smart TVs, so you can relax and stream your favorite shows after a long day on the water.

Our kitchen is ready for your stay and includes:

- Dishes, glasses, cups and silverware
- Cookware
- Keurig coffee maker
- Microwave
- Dishwasher
- Dishwashing soap
- Hand soap
- Kitchen towels and washcloths

A limited supply of toilet paper and paper towels is provided to get you started.

Guests should bring paper plates and disposable utensils if desired. There may occasionally be some available at the house, and you're welcome to use what's there.

🛁 Bathrooms & Laundry

Bathrooms are furnished with bath towels and washcloths. Guests should bring their own personal toiletries.

A washer and dryer are available for guest use. Please bring your preferred laundry detergent.
