Host was very welcoming. Very responsive when we had any questions or issues. Very private location with so much to see and do on the property. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, which was very clean and perfectly heated! The kitchen had everything you need to complete your meals. Would definitely recommend this location and look forward to returning again soon!

Beautiful property ! Accessible lake and paths. Beautifully groomed rock roads, historic homes and very hospitable hosts. The cottage was lovely and quiet and is beautifully appointed. The property is Located perfectly- close to Callaway Gardens and The best Steakhouse in the area- Hunter’s Pub We enjoyed walking around the lake and the hot tub after golf We plan to return soon

Presidents’ Day Weekend Retreat

This was our second time at this beautiful, private, quiet cottage. Very comfortable and beautiful. Cottage is showing some signs of maintenance needs—squirrels very active in attic and inside roof, and fireplaces seemed to run out of propane mid-weekend. Kitchen missing some key items like functional coffee maker and mixing bowls. All in all very nice though.

Peaceful and Gorgeous

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love it! We love being isolated and the property is beautiful. In the evenings it’s great to build a fire and enjoy the hot tub. Will definitely be back!

Lovely cabin & beautiful grounds

My husband & I had a one night getaway in this lovely cabin. The grounds were beautiful & the cabin has been updated with nice furnishings & fixtures. You can see the owner’s lodge from the cabin but you have a private deck off of the back of the rental. Communication with the owner was easy & we enjoyed watching the sun set over the lake from their veranda. Kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook a meal & the hot tub was a bonus. There is a shared fire pit (if someone is renting the other cabin) but we didn’t have time to try it out. Maybe next time!

We had an amazing time here. The accommodations were great. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The linens were all very nice. The host gave us a great tour of the property. You could really just spend time here without leaving the property.

Cute cabin for quick getaway

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen, enjoy both fireplaces, and take a dip in the hot tub. It is a cute, property that has been updated. The estate is beautiful. We did have some trouble getting in. We were told the key would be left under the porch mat. We arrived after dark, there were no lights on, and the key was no located under any of the mats. After about 10 minutes of fumbling in the dark, we tried the door and it was unlocked at both entrances. Based on the location, it would be tough for someone to enter without notice of the property owners, but it does not make you feel comfortable arriving to a dark, unlocked cabin. There were also a lot of people coming an going constantly on the property... cars, trucks, golf carts, 4 wheeler. The listing makes you think this is secluded, and while it is on a private estate, the cabin is directly behind a main house with people constantly coming and going. The last thing I will add is that the day before we arrived, we received an extremely long list of house rules. While you should be able to have any rules you want for your own property, renters deserve to know your expectations up front. It should have been posted in the listing. Some of these rules may have deterred us from staying at this property.

Wonderful Winter Couple’s Retreat

Beautiful, quiet, cozy and charming cottage for two on a secluded, private estate for MLK weekend. Easy access to FDR State Park and Calloway Gardens activities. We also enjoyed outdoor hot tub and deck area.

Wow!! Amazing Place. Amazing Owners

Do not hestitate to book here. The listing cannot convey the beauty if this place. The owners are friendly and helpful. The rental is private but located on their property which happens to be a historic estate previously owned by the Callaways of Callaway Gardens. You will be hard pressed to find a place or experience like this. My husband and I are in absolutely in love and can't wait to come back. My husband fished on the lake. Just incredible. Breathtaking. Everything we hoped for and more.

Perfect Spot for Weekend Getaway (Kid Free!)

We came to the area to attend a friend's wedding at the Oakhurst Wedding Venue, less than 20 minutes away. This Villa and property were exactly what my husband and I needed to unplug, unwind, and enjoy each other's company. It was so quiet outside relaxing in the hot tub or on the front porch swing. We enjoyed our walk around the beautiful property. The villa was so clean and the bed was super comfortable. If we find ourselves in need of a weekend away again or in the Columbus GA area, we will absolutely check the availability of this place again. It was awesome!

Country Living At It's Best

Beautiful property in a gated area by a lake. Quite out of the way place to relax and enjoy nature or just each other. Private Hot Tub that did not disappoint. Beautifully furnished villa perfect for a romantic get a way.

An introvert's DREAM!!

My husband and I enjoy seclusion and privacy, especially on stay-cations, and WOW does this property fit the bill! We stayed 1 night, so we didn’t make time to enjoy the lake nor access to the pool that is that is attached to the property owners' home just feet away from the villa, but the top of the line hot tub that is located on the villa's patio was MORE than sufficient! And OMG, the first-class gas grill was divine! And let me not fail to mention that the owner is responsive, accommodating and welcoming! I HIGHLY recommend!

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I were traveling to Pine Mountain for a wedding this weekend and needed some where to stay. I wanted a cabin rental feel but with luxury amenities and Virginias Villa delivers just that!! Amazing option for a solo trip or couples getaway. The property is amazing and the owners cut no corners when designing the villa. It’s very much cabin meets farmhouse chic and a southern girls dream!!! Thank you for the hospitality and great customer service. We will definitely recommend!
