Hotel Hamilton

« The room was clean. It had been recently refreshed with new decor. Either the nextdoor guest or previous guest had smoked in the bathroom. The owner was very helpful in trying to clear out the smell. For the price I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice it was. It looks to be family owned and they are going through and remodeling/refreshing each room. Air conditioning was fabulous. Beds are comfy and linens were fresh and clean. »

« The room was great! I selected a room with the whirlpool. It worked wonderfully, from the water temperature to the pressure of the whirlpool jets. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. When I checked in there was a line of impatient customers and the staff remained calm, professional and friendly. »

« We stayed at Cobblestone Inn at the recommendation of Harvestville Farm (we were attending a farm to table event). A no-frills type of hotel, it provided us exactly what we needed: a convenient, comfy and extremely clean place to stay. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We will definitely stay again the next time we attend another event at the Farm. »

« Staff was helpful when I needed some assistance. Room was remodeled but still had plastic on the mattress. The entry door did not close fully. Needs a little more remodeling. »

« We loved it here. Perfect location. It was an updated bathroom attached to our room. Breakfast was everything you want. Confusing a bit on checking in but otherwise great. I did think I was getting a view of the temple but I got the wall of the next building which was disappointing. »

« Breakfast was great. Room was very dirty. They don't mop their floors and it shows. There were various areas on the floor that looked like they were molding. »

« Exceptionnel. Les villas à 2 chambres sont très spacieuses et d'une propreté impeccable. Cuisine entièrement équipée y compris avec lave linge, sèche linge, le linge de maison et les produits vaisselle. Site très calme en plein milieu des champs, peut-être un peu trop éloigné du centre de Nauvoo. Dans l'une des 2 chambres, aucune lampe de chevet. Cet équipement devrait être ajouté. »

« The food was wonderful and very fresh! The beds were very comfortable! Each room is thermostatically controlled and has its own charm. The floors and stairs are creaky but adds to the charm of an old home. Laurie is such a great host! We enjoyed her company very much! She made our stay so nice! We would definitely stay there again! »

« I first want to say the owners are very nice. I do think they wanted us to feel comfortable and welcome. The house is old and beautiful, my curiosity of growing up near this property made me want to stay here instead of Hampton Inn. The access to the living and dining room was appealing because my family still lives in keokuk and we don’t have anywhere big enough to relax and visit together.
