« This cottage is very comfortable in a safe, calm and peaceful setting. It had everything we needed and we were even able to borrow dog beds to make sure our dogs didn't get cozy on furniture! It is a perfect location to explore Copper country. We did several hikes in the area including Mt. Baldy, Black Creek, Eagle Harbor trails, Horseshoe Harbor, and the trail in the town of Central. After hiking in the rain one day, we fired up the common sauna for some extra relaxation. »

« This cabin, location and lake were the perfect antidote for an amazing relaxing vacation. The pictures do not share the wonderful size windows and views of the lake. The high point of this trip was spending lots of time on the water with the owners paddle board, kayak and canoe. I always make a point of thanking owners that allow dogs to join in on our vacation fun. THANK YOU! »

« The started off a little rocky, but our host was most helpful. We enjoyed wonderful weather (even thunderstorms in the UP are amazing), saw unmatched natural beauty, and managed to find a few special rocks. We definitely will come back. »

« Having a little cabin to yourself is a great alternative to a hotel room. I was up for a wedding and hotels were very expensive, this was much more reasonably priced and didn’t have to share a wall with anyone! Walking distance to town as well. »

« Beautiful location; short walk to the beach and pretty centralized in the Keweenaw Peninsula, so it's convenient for seeing the whole area. Not much to do in Eagle River, but we liked how calm town was so you could go see the rest of the area and come back and relax. The house is the perfect size for a small family or group and the decorating makes it feel comfy and inviting. »

« The stay was great! We had a lovely time. The house was beautifully decorated and clean. We cooked a lot in the kitchen and would tell anyone planning to cook for a group- to be ready for dull knives!That was the only thing that wasn't perfect, so that is saying something. « Perfect home base for our son’s graduation from MTU. The cottage was spotless and cozy. Location was a quick 30” trip into Houghton but far enough away from tech to avoid the congestion of a graduation weekend. Such a gem to be located right on beautiful Lake Superior. We’ve already booked a stay for next year! »
