The attention to detail in the refurbishment of the Victorian mansion shows. The suite was beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed with thoughtful modern conveniences. The breakfast each morning was next level: beautiful, delicious, thoughtful, and elegant. David and Zach are wonderful hosts! We will stay again!

The newly restored Victorian suite offers a quiet retreat away from the busy downtown areas and a fun connection to local history. The rooms provide the luxury of a historic mansion with all the necessary modern conveniences. The friendly and helpful hosts are generous stewards of this amazing property. I am already looking forward to my next stay!

I had an outstanding stay at The Quincy house! The hosts were friendly, kind and gracious. Everything from room details to amazing breakfasts were well thought out. This place may look so-so from the outside. But the accommodations were fantastic. The renovations taking place are amazing! The room was relaxing and quiet.

Such a unique property and love that the hosts are restoring such a historic building. The room was beautiful and the guests thought of everything. Would definitely recommend.

The rooms were very clean and fancy. Snacks in the room were very thoughtful. Very pretty view. Private. The host was very generous and had great communication. Good location to many other places. Would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful old home from 1888 that is carefully being restored. We had a comfortable sitting area off from the bedroom and bath. The woodwork details in the house are awesome. We had fresh cut lilac flowers in our room. The owners have put a lot of attention into the details that made our stay unique. We look forward to a return trip.

Beautiful accommodations. The bed was very comfortable. I also enjoyed the heated towel rack in the bathroom.Excellent hosts! They were even willing to help us get our car out of a snowbank.

Wonderful accommodations!

The renovated maid’s quarters in the historic Quincy House was the perfect space for my week-long visit to the Copper Country. Safe, clean, well appointed, and a great location for all that the Keweenaw offers. Plenty of history, hiking trails, views, and delicious food nearby!

This is a lovely historic home and David and Zach are great hosts! They've restored the Maids Quarters beautifully and added modern comforts and conveniences. We're looking forward to staying here on all our future trips to the Copper Country!

We really enjoyed our stay at Quincy House and would absolutely come back. Our room had been beautifully remodeled in a way that preserved the period feel of the home while still being very comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into bringing this historic property back to life. The scratch-made breakfast was a real highlight—absolutely outstanding and something we looked forward to each morning. The same attention to detail being put into the house clearly carries through to the hospitality. A couple things worth knowing: Quincy House is still undergoing restoration, so you won’t yet get to experience the entire property. Our room was completely insulated from the work, though, and it didn’t detract from our stay. The sitting room can also get a little warm on sunny 80+ degree days, but certainly wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Overall, a wonderful stay in a beautiful historic home with lots of character, great hospitality, and an exceptional breakfast. We’re excited to see Quincy House as the restoration continues!

My son, daughter in law and I stayed in the Maid’s Quarters at Quincy House for four nights in May, 2026. Our experience was 100% positive. The hosts, David and Zach, have created a beautifully decorated and comfortable retreat in this magnificent 19th century home. Although they do not provide a full breakfast in the “off season”, we were greeted with a tray of goodies (either cinnamon rolls, blueberry muffins or scones plus juice and fruit) every morning. We requested a tour of the property, and they graciously spent an evening relating the history and their plans for the future. We highly recommend Quincy House for a comfortable stay in the beautiful Keweenaw peninsula.

What a fantastic place to say. We usually take very casual vacations and this was a great home base for us. The hosts were excellent with communication and accommodating to our needs, even sending us off with homemade cinnamon rolls and freezing our ice packs so we could take home frozen pasties. The coffee bar was superb, stocked with so many things we wanted and things we didn’t even know we needed! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, stocked with so many items in case we forgot anything. The walk in closet had an iron and board, tv trays, blankets and pillows. The location was exactly what we were looking for, everything we wanted to do within 10 miles. We can’t wait to visit again. What a great thing these men are doing to restore this beautiful property. Well done guys!!!

This place was amazing. Fresh flowers greeted us when we walked in, the decor is beautiful and reflects the historical aspect of the property. It’s like stepping back in time. There was coffee, tea, other beverages and snacks for us to enjoy.
