« Not easy to contact owner, or any person if we had questions.property was fine except inside stairs. Absolutely filthy..really no need to remove shoes. In fact one would not want to..stairs way too dirty..we originally were to be 6 but ended up as 2 so other than one bedroom none of the others were touched . Other odd thing..only bathroom was downstairs..little inconvenient to say the least. »

« This is a fantastic VRBO property. The access and views of the beach and Lake Superior is stunning and relaxing. We spent 3 days with family and enjoyed making dinners, sitting on the patio with the chiminea and taking walks on the beach. Great hosts and fantastic amenities. « This was a great location for getting to the Houghton/Hancock area for bars/restaurants and still seeing the rest of the Keweenaw. There was a great beach around the corner with grills and tables. The house itself was very spacious. The kitchen and dining space were well sized for preparing meals together. Our only complaint is that the house was lacking in basic items such as trash bags, kleenex, enough toilet paper for the week, and hand soap. Otherwise, there were plenty of towels, kitchen...

« we stayed for several days to move our son up to Mich Tech and explored the area. Home was clean and beautifully furnished. Everyone found the beds comfortable, even the Murphy bed - memory foam as listed was very appreciated. « This is a very well maintained and rustic cabin / small house in a quiet neighborhood just a mile or two from the bridge in Houghton. We could walk to the ski trails and had easy access to US-41 and downtown. The cabin was clean and very well cared for, had window A/C in the upstairs room, and had plenty of room for two. The neighborhood is full of trees and was quiet without being isolated. We would certainly stay again if we come back to Houghton. »
