„The room was very comfortable, clean and had wonderful views of the mountains. The bed was lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast was just superb. Although quite a treck around narrow winding lanes to get there...it was definitely worth it. Lovely family-run bed and breakfast...I would highly recommend it. „I use this hotel on a regular basis when working in the Gloucester region I would highly recommend this hotel to any business person traveling to the Gloucester area The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. A few days ago I had a problem starting my car, the staff came out to help me start it and ensure I was not late for my meeting. A big thanks for that.“

„Beautiful place, with excellent staff. We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going. The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding. The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest. We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day.“

„A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens.“

„mein einzelzimmer war 5-6 qm groß und ca. 1,90 hoch. das fensterlose bad war ungefähr genauso groß (aber viel höher) und befand sich 10 m den gang hinunter, 4 stufen hoch und hinter einer feuerschutztür um die ecke. es war also nicht "en suite", worauf man demnach in england achten muss. der zimmername "cromwell´s cupboard" war durchaus passend.“

„We found out quite late we have no hot water. We called the staff who said they'll see what can be done and call us right back. They never called. I the morning, when we asked again for the water to be repaired, they tried a few things and said they should be OK in about 10 minutes. We waited 30. Nothing happened, so we gave up. Also, the closet door was missing a screw and the door came apart. “
