I can’t say enough good things about this very amazing location. If you want to want to get away from the city bustle and tourist trap of Waikiki, this is your spot. The water is calm enough for children and the snorkeling is fantastic. I personally thought it was better than Hanauma Bay (too many people and not as many fish). We booked this place for the location, and the unit provided basics for what we needed. It was clean, spacious for 2 people, and exactly as advertised. The communication and check-in was excellent. Always reachable and very responsive. The construction was not an issue and the management group was very upfront with the construction challenges, including parking access. The food trucks across the street rival some of the bigger known food trucks. Try the shaved ice across the street, too. The town has its charm. If you are spending more time on the north shore, this is a great base camp for 2 people. 30 mins to Sharks Cove, 15 to Kualoa Ranch. There’s a portable AC unit that is convenient on hot nights and plenty of fans in unit. There’s going to be small bugs but they come from outside, they are everywhere in the tropics. The unit is comfortable and provides for all your basic needs, but the location and beach is my favorite. Morning roosters won’t let you miss the sunrise. Shout out to the security company that provides 24 hour security on the property, very kind and helpful folks. I would stay here again, most definitely.
