I highly recommend this resort. Its prime location near the beach makes it incredibly convenient for guests, and itâs just a short distance from all the main coral reef tour departures. The proximity to local attractions and activities adds great value to the stay, especially for those looking to explore the natural beauty of the area.
The resort charged me $165 for resort fees. These are condos with a shared pool. No other services. It is my understanding that the resort fees are included in the total price on Expedia so this was an unpleasant surprise. Our room had cockroaches and other bugs. No services. I am not happy about this charge and no resort amenities. I had cockroached and bugs in my room
Room was amazing. Two queen beds in the guest room for our kids to have their own bed and a king in the master. 2 bathrooms and a outside patio that wrapped around providing a view of the mountains and ocean. Resort was clean and staff was very kind and helpful. Would go back as soon as we can
Breathtaking ocean views, just a short walk to upscale restaurants and a beautiful beach. The staff is friendly, and the recently renovated apartments feature tall ceilings and modern finishes.
Had a nice stay. Location was great, beach was great, pool was busy (to be expected) People reserve chairs first thing in the morning then leave for hours, annoying but it is what it is. Whalers Village is next door which is super convenient. Room was clean, but housekeeping doesnât come. Had a broom but no dust pan, no vacuum. But overall, enjoyed our stay.
The best family rental ever. For the price compared to all the other resorts you get the most bang for your buck: location, FULL KITCHEN, laundry, guest services, beach access, shopping, and the most beautiful ocean with snorkeling magic galore. We saw sharks turtles and fish by Black Rock. It was amazing. Our daughter loved her first trip to Hawaii. We will definitely be back to west Maui and highly recommend the Whaler.
