« This hotel is cute, well located in downtown Helensburgh facing the Clyde. It's a "boutique" hotel so there's a lot of nice decoration items. The room itself is well decorated and there's even a vinyl record player with some vinyl discs. The bed in our double room was maybe a bit tiny but it's okay for 1 night. The front desk staff is nice. We had a reservation for the restaurant at 8:45pm but when we got there we were told that the kitchen closed at 8pm (it was Saturday night). Too bad, but...

« Mark went out of his way to be as helpful as possible and laid on snacks, wine and milk for us on our arrival.The views over the Loch were beautiful! The only word of caution is that there is a fairly steep concrete staircase that spirals up to the apartment - if you are not good on your feet it may be an issue. »

« Caravan is lovely and comfortable, though can be noisy in stormy weather, though otherwise it's a quiet location. Drive is quite steep for parking. Fantastic views over Loch Long. Access drive is a single road, is quite steep in places and it can be tricky to find the caravan. »

« We had a lovely night's stay at the Sugar Boat in their family room. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was fabulous! We'd definitely recommend to anyone, and will return next time we're in Helensburgh - thank you! »
