Beautiful Beachside villa

We were very lucky to have picked such a stunning well appointed villa in a beautiful location as we arrived in the worst storms Crete has ever seen with flooding and power cuts all around us! Whilst the weather could have ruined our holiday inside we had everything we needed to keep us entertained in comfort with a fantastic view of the crashing waves on the shoreline. Well appointed and designed with great taste and well thought out accommodation. Compact and well kitchens on each floor however we only used the ground floor one so moved things around so it was perfectly adequate for the 6 of us being indoors. Bathrooms were all stunning and had everything needed even towels for washing your make up off. We had thought we’d be sat round the pool in the sun drinking cocktails but we were sat indoors with beautiful oceanic views watching the huge telly. Our host did everything he could accommodate us when we had power related problems and fixed our issue quickly. We would definitely go back next time in the sun. If our accommodation had been not up to standard our holiday would have been awful but it was Elmer Villa itself that saved the day. Hersonissos has had a huge revamp on the front with some lovely looking bars and restaurants. If you turn right from the villa you can walk to Stalis which is beautiful. My pillows were a little too firm for me. Could have used a few more wine glasses. Teething problem with the power tripping in the rain to be expected in a brand new property in that terrible rain and I’m sure these will be sorted out as he is a very kind and contentious owner.

Incredible villa

We stayed in EBV one week as one of the first guests, and it was fantastic. Location was top tier. The beach was practically our "private beach", the street is silent and the view is awesome. Everything was clean, everything was high quality (such as beds, showers, poolbeds etc) and it was insane value for our money! Would most definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay near Chersonissos. Also, the entire booking and handling by the host, owner and Oreotravel were very nice and professional, and made us feel safe! The only small things that could be improved are: -the induction stove has a system where it turnes off when it gets too hot. Nearly all of the times actually, it turned off before the pans got hot enough to for example bake chicken or eggs. We had to lift the pan to cool off the stove, after which it turned on again. -We didnt get clean sheets after 4 days, which i believe was stated online. But we also didnt ask for them when we didnt get them, because it wasnt a problem for us. So maybe this was our own fault. Anyway, no worries. -There wasnt any soap in the bathrooms, which i believe was stated in the description of the house. This isnt a problem, but when you expect it to be there, you wont take it with you, which can be a problem. At the spar, u could buy it for 2 euros, so no big deal. All these things didnt make the stay bad in any way, but are minor inconveniences, (its also a very new villa, so its natural) that can make the stay even better, when improved!
