« The room ( no 19) was spotless and the bed very comfy. Bathroom was spacious with a bath and a walk in shower. We had an evening meal there which was delicious and a substantial breakfast the next morning. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Smiles all round. »

« My friend and I stayed here this weekend due to attending a festival nearby. The stable rooms are absolutely lovely, so comfortable, beautiful bathroom and lovely bed! We even had horses in stables next to us which was a lovely view to wake up too. The self serve breakfast room was so cute and had everything you could really ask for including fresh fruit, milk, breads and pastries. Will be returning with my partner for sure! »

« Wanted to stay somewhere with a rural charm, and this did not disappoint! Staff very friendly and helpful. We did the half board which offered great value. Proper pub food, reasonably priced and excellent quality. Same can be said about breakfast. Great location to explore the area and walks nearby. Only slight downside were that the walls were quite thin so you could hear movements from neighbouring rooms. »

Its not Travelodge style accommodation, but (I suspect) cheaply built and maintained block of approx 15 holiday camp type rooms in a working farm yard. « AprÚs 1 journée de marche depuis Matlock (environ 35km), nous avions apprécié notre chambre dans ce b&b. Chambre trÚs confortable, trÚs propre et décorée avec beaucoup de goût.
