« We had a wonderful stay at The Jungalow! The property was perfectly located, close to the Volcano National Park and in a lovely neighborhood. The house itself was immaculate and very cozy. My entire family loved it. We were sad to only stay one night, if we make it back we would absolutely stay there for longer. Highly recommend The Jungalow!! »

« It was such a treat for our family of four to stay at this home. The house is absolutely lovely! Plenty of space for all of us, so many wonderful outdoor spaces to use. The view is stunning! We never got tired of it. Easy walk to a beach nearby, and the perfect hub for several day and half day trips. The owner is wonderful! So friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. We hope to be back soon! »

« Beautiful house, perfectly located to hike on the volcanos. Well furnished, clean. The spa was a great add on as it’s a bit chilly in the evenings. Area is very quiet. »

« From the first day we booked to the day that we left, we received almost immediate responses to every question we asked. As usual, there were a couple of arrival difficulties, but the host quickly took care of those. The house is beautiful. We were able to walk to the point and watch the waves and even some whales. They also made great suggestions about restaurants and supermarkets in the area. »

« We absolutely loved our stay! The location is perfect, right between Volcano National Park and Hilo. The grounds are amazing and the frogs sang us to sleep every night. The screened in porch is wonderful for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The house is well maintained and very clean. Highly recommend. »

« Beautiful spot, house is large, nicely furnished and decorated with a well stocked kitchen and other amenities. In a residential neighborhood, very friendly atmosphere and pleasant area to walk around. Pahoa is a quiet town, has a nice new grocery market and a few fun places to go out to eat or drink. We saw tons of whales go by from the lanai and enjoyed short day trips to Hilo and Volcano. »

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....

« Loved our stay at this lovely cottage set on 9 beautiful acres. It felt like we were actually guests of the original plantation house. Stayed for thirteen nights, and were joined by our daughter for five nights. Plenty of room for the three of us. Favorite times were morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the veranda. Easy drive to both Hilo and Volcano, and Foodland grocery is a mile away. Highly recommend. »

« The house was a roomy older house, conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Hilo. Overall, the house was terrific. The only drawback was the shower stall and showerhead. The shower flow was insufficient. A hand-held shower head would be better! »

« Nous avons beaucoup aimé . La proximité du parc Carl Smith avec son lagon et ses récifs est spectaculaire.. La vue du balcon et de la chambre à coucher est sublime. Dormir au son des vagues et sous un ciel étoilé est tout simplement merveilleux. Condo bien équipé, nous n'avons manqué de rien Condo bien situé près des parcs de plage et loin du bruit de la ville de Hilo Parfait pour les destination de la côte est de Big Island »
