  • Nichée au coeur de la région de North Forest Beach de Hilton Head Island et à trois minutes à pied de la plage, notre maison de plage avec 6 chambres et 4 salles de bain, appelée "Sandy Feet Retreat"

    Sandy Feet Retreat a tout pour plaire! Deux maisons pour le prix d'une, une grande piscine pouvant être chauffée moyennant des frais supplémentaires. Cette maison a eu des rénovations récentes; les trois salles de bains de la maison principale ont une belle vue sur la mer, de nouvelles vasques, des toilettes et des luminaires. Un nouveau plancher a été installé dans toute la maison principale avec de nouveaux meubles.

    Une propriété classique de North Forest Beach très bien située. Sandy Feet Retreat est amusant et pratique pour tous les groupes d'âge. Il se trouve sur la piste cyclable, près de la meilleure plage et à quatre minutes à pied de Coligny pour ses boutiques, ses restaurants et ses divertissements. La maison principale est un niveau de sol sans marches. Avoir 2 maisons sur une propriété offre un espace idéal pour la vie de famille et la vie privée. Aussi pour une petite réunion d'entreprise et des groupes de golf.

    Ce qui distingue cette maison, ce n’est pas seulement la maison d’hôtes bonus à deux étages, mais aussi l’attention exceptionnelle portée au confort.

    Il y a une entrée accueillante avec un salon / salle à manger meublé avec un canapé-lit queen. La salle Carolina s'étend sur toute la longueur de la maison principale à l'arrière. Les portes françaises s'ouvrent sur la piscine et le porche filtré. Une banquette sur mesure avec une table pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 14 personnes, une télévision, une cheminée et un canapé d'angle en font un lieu de rassemblement idéal pour toute la fête. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer vos repas.

    Le porche couvert est fabuleux et dispose d’un bar construit sur mesure avec terrasse, d’un mobilier confortable et d’une télévision à écran plat. Le porche blindé relie la maison principale à la maison d'hôtes.

    La piscine est l’une des plus grandes et des meilleures piscines privées de l’île. La piscine peut être chauffée moyennant des frais supplémentaires. Profitez de la fontaine à cascade et de la pataugeoire conçues pour bronzer sur des chaises longues à 18 "d’eau. De nouveaux salons de chasse ont été ajoutés pour profiter tout en profitant des journées ensoleillées.

    Le garage est rempli de jouets pour votre usage. Plusieurs vélos, chaises de plage, voiturette de plage, jouets de sable, planches de boogie, jeu de lancer un trou de maïs.

    Sur le côté de la maison se trouve un terrain de jeu de cartes et tous les équipements.

First time Hilton Head Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was a perfect location. Beach is not crowded and easy walk to shops and Piggly Wiggly. Layout of house is nice and pool is great. House is stocked nicely. A few things need replaced/fixed-bikes need serviced, a few beach items are broken. Just needs to be sorted thru and thrown out. It was nice having them there but I assume people break them and leave them there.

Family Getaway

We had a great time and plenty of room in this beautiful house. 8 adults and 7 kids enjoyed playing games and swimming together. Just a short walk from the beach and Coligny area. We had a great time!

We'll be back!

This property was perfect for our family. Great walking distance to beach and Coligny Plaza, stores, shops. The teen boys loved having the guest house to themselves, the pre-teens loved the bunk room and the adults loved having king size beds for all! Clean, comfortable and spacious. We also enjoyed having so many beach toys/games/supplies.

Our family had a terrific time enjoying Southwind. The accommodations were perfect for all of us - six adults and six kids! We all felt like we were "at home" on vacation! My kids claim this vacation beat out Disney World. What could get better than that? :)

Great beach house for families

We had three families - 6 adults and 6 kids between 6-10. This house worked perfectly for us. We loved being able to walk to the beach, town, and having a pool. Bikes are in poor condition so don’t count on them - otherwise house and amenities were great. Outdoor shower was broken but property manager fixed within hours of our call.

Family Week in HHI

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and will not be our last! We love how close the house is to the beach and Coligny, we can walk or bike to both. Our family ranges in baby to adult. Having the guest house is great for the family that needs a little space from everyone else. We love the updates to the guest house as well! The screen porch is perfect for gathering at night to watch movies together. This is our favorite house on HHI!

The kitchen had a great supply of dishes, silverware, knives, pots/pans, even koozies! 2 full size fridges and regular coffee pot and a Keurig! The pool is beautiful. The location just set it over the top! A quick walk down the street and you're on the beach.A quick walk about 2 blocks a you are at a great shopping/restaurant area (Coligny)Honestly, all of my stays are booked through Vacation Time of HHI. They are spot on with their exceptional customer service and properties!

Great time and good economy house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Newly renovated inside but issues with hot water, cable and screen porch electrical issues prevent a 5 star. We had a great time. The pool was great other than no one could tell us how to use the waterfall. Beach supplies were awesome and proximity to beach and coligny was great. This property was nice but lacked the wow factor due to simple issues. We were without cable and wifi for three days due it gfci tripping in patio and frying the cable amp. The cable guy told us their 4th trip in 2 months. Hot water would not accomodate the main house before dinner. We had 7 adults and only half had hot water. Pool would get really cloudy and my pool experience tells me that could have been mitigated with better circulation and use of waterfall. Pool guy shows up midday Wednesday and use so much chemical he told us to stay out 3 hours so we essentially lose use for an entire afternoon. Dont get me wrong, for the price and location this was a great trip but wanted to share these minor things as some people might get upset. Overall good time but no accommodation from the property manager for the issues. Not even a nominal future discount. Our family has rented for over 20 years and anytime issues like this occur, we have been offered dinner, future discounts or refunds. We never except as we know issues can happen but it is about the gesture and wanting to make it right. If these few things were properly addressed this could easily be a 4 star maybe even a 5 star for the price.

It was the perfect location for a short walk to the beach and ice cream treats at Rita’s each night. The main house is fairly clean although I wish the cleaning people would check under the beds as we found a pair of used shorts/underwear under the master bed. However, the detached house was not clean at all and was full of bugs/mosquitos despite our best efforts. It was so bad that my two girls ended up moving into the main house mid-stay and sleeping on the couch. I understand cleaners on the island are very busy, but there was a significant change in the cleanliness this year compared to our stay last year.

Everyone had a comfortable bed and place to chill out. The pool was perfect and we loved the screen porch. Kitchen was well stocked with adequate pots, pans, plates silverware, etc. Two refrigerators was a plus. Batteries on our smoke detectors went off but service man came and replaced batteries very quickly. Would Definitely recommend this house.

Great house / vacation

The house was great. The pool area had some garbage wrappers around that weren’t picked up prior to our arrival. The house wasn’t cleaned by 4 pm so we had to wait another hour or so before we could get in. The dryer didn’t dry very well I’m not sure if something is wrong with it and the oven needs to be cleaned as every time we cooked the smoke alarm went off. The master bedroom smoke alarm battery died and it kept beeping so we had to take them out. I emailed about it and never heard back from anyone. Besides these little issues the house and location were great.

Christmas vacation was excellent

We had our family Christmas in this wonderful home that was very spacious and centrally located on the island. The house has a great layout. Everything you need is provided from the kitchen utensils to bikes to beach toys!! Even the guest house has it’s own washers/dryer, oven/stove… The accommodations are excellent and I will definitely rent it again and recommend it to friends!! Thanks!!
