This was our first time in Hilton Head, and we had a fantastic experience. The house is great and offers everything that you need. Very short walk to the beach and convenient drive to everything on the island. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Spring Break

The property was better than expected. So many activities. The movie room is legit and easy to navigate. The rooms are spacious. Everything was clean and it was easy to communicate with the property owners. An easy walk to the beach, park, tennis courts...We are thinking about making this trip to this house a regular occurrence.

Amazing property

The property is beautiful and perfect for large groups. We truly were able to gather all together and have space apart as we desired. The elevator needs more explicit instructions and direction but it worked well too.

Best Family House Ever!!

This house is amazing! The furnishings were perfect and the house was well equipped to handle our large family group of 12, with plenty of beds leftover! With all of the fun amenities, even rainy days were so much fun! The beach access was so convenient, and the provided beach/pool toys were a welcome surprise. We will definitely rent this house again!

Great house

Perfect for large group with teens. Kitchen stocked - we cooked all meals except for one on our week stay in house. Extra fridge and freezer downstairs was great. Plenty of parking, nice to have extra beach chairs and wagon for beach. Good communication - would recommend!

Great Large Family vacation

This was a great house for 18 of us. Having room to spread out with many in-house activities was perfect. The walk to the beach was fine especially with wagons to load and pull with much stuff. We loved the house pool as well returning from the beach or having late night swims!

Second Stay

This was our second stay at 6 Sandy Beach trail. Our previous stay was four summers ago and the improvements and upgrades to the house were noticeable. The addition of the lower level/pool bathroom, movie theatre, new kitchen cabinets and appliances, and new furniture were great! They made a very good house great and one that better met the needs of our growing family. We would not hesitate to come back on our next visit to HHI!

Great Location, great house,

This is a hard to find large house for a golf buddies outing. The negatives are that the shampoo/soap supply was minimal. It would be nice to see more instructions for how to turn on the ice cube maker and how to get the TV's to work. The pool table had only one cue and no chalk. It made it unplayable. The theater room was a fun time. Overall a positive experience.

Overall good experience

We stayed at this property for a family reunion with kids ranging from 8-21. The access to the beach was great, a very short walk. The pool and surrounding pool area were fantastic. The house was beautiful and the bedrooms were spacious. Some of the beds didnt have bedding upon our arrival, which was frustrating. The lower level master mattress was very uncomfortable. The floors were very dirty upon our arrival, which didnt reflect what we would expect with such a high cleaning fee. There were only two tea towels for dishes. There are no bathroom hooks and few towell racks which was inconvenient. Overall, the house was very clean and organized. The kitchen was well equipped. The game room in the basement was a big hit. There is plenty of outdoor seating in the shade on the balconies and by the pool. The elevator was a bonus!

Lovely!

We had a wonderful time at 6 Sandy Beach Trail! Literally it was perfect and zero problems. If I had to pick one thing it’s that the beach access is public so it was probably the most people we have seen at the beach on vacation in three years. Way way too crowded but the house, distance to the beach and home amenities were wonderful!

Great house!

We had a wonderful week and this was the perfect place for our group of 14. There was plenty of space so that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The location was close to the beach as well as shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend this house!

Great vacation and location!

We needed a peaceful get away and this was fabulous. Beach and family time - perfect location for biking to breakfast and walking to the park to play tennis. The management company was great and really made our stay great.

Good, not great

The home was very spacious and the kitchen well stocked with appliances, utensils and dishes. The location of the home was great. It was a 5 min walk to the beach and 10 min walk to a playground. The pool was clean and heated to a very comfortable/warm temperature. We did experience two major problems. 1 - The main level floors, garage level floors and the stairs connecting the two were very dusty and sandy. We asked for a re-clean upon our arrival. The property manager was responsive and sent the cleaners right away. Unfortunately the floors were still not well cleaned. This may not be as much of an issue for adults and older children but it was not ideal for our crawling infant. Our baby’s clothes were covered in dust/dirt all day long. 2 - During our stay the refrigerator in the kitchen was not working. There was a spare fridge on the garage level available but it was just very inconvenient. We had to make multiple trips up and down throughout the day. Again, very inconvenient when you have small children. The property manager did notify us of the issue a few hours before our arrival and offered us a small refund for the inconvenience. We would have enjoyed our stay a lot more and considered returning to this home if it weren’t for these issues.

Great situation

The layout worked very well with our family. The location to the beach was very doable with the ages of the children and the help of wagons. Even on rainy days, the overhangs on the porches gave added play space.

Great family vacation!

4 generations of our family stayed here- the place exceeded our expectations! Kitchen was very well equipped. Family room very spacious & comfortable. Nice to have a full bath with each bedroom for privacy. Kids room was perfect for our 3 boys! The pool was a big hit! Easy walk to the beach! We made lots of family memories on this trip! Vacation Homes of Hilton Head were with us every step of the way-they contacted us to see if we had questions or concerns, responded quickly to a maintenance request, texted us that the cottage was ready & we could check in early, & sent details of so we knew what to expect for check in & check out!- they were amazing to work with!
