This is a beautiful property in a beautiful neighborhood which unfortunately has not been checked or had regular upkeep. When we arrived at the property there was an overpowering smell, similar to sewage. The Vacasa team did the best they could to remediate the smell with no luck so we were challenged with finding alternate accommodations. Vacasa offered us one on the other side of the island which would have made our group vacation challenging with the rest of the group staying in our planned location. Ultimately we found our own alternate rental which was smaller and quite more expensive. We were given a full refund but not compensated for our additional expenses or inconvenience. Again, very disappointing because this completely changed and compromised our trip as well as costing us money we had not budgeted for. It’s a shame such a lovely villa has not had the regular management to keep it safe and ready for the vacationers looking forward to staying there.
