Cozy Pays Ferme long de la Scenic Trail Catskill

Venez profiter d'un moment de détente dans notre maison de ferme rénovée confortable, situé dans les belles collines de les Catskills du Nord. Nous sommes seulement environ 3 1/2 heures de New York City, mais nous sommes vraiment un monde à part!

Pour votre groupe de six ou moins, notre maison a trois chambres, 1 salle de bain complète et 1 demi-bain avec une cuisine entièrement équipée avec à la fois une cuisinière à gaz moderne et d'une cuisinière Glenwood 1926. Il ya une salle à manger pour les repas du soir et une table confortable par le poêle à bois dans la cuisine. Ceci est une maison où vous pouvez mettre vos pieds et se détendre!

Vous verrez que notre maison est l'endroit idéal pour explorer le plein air ... que ce soit par une promenade ou une balade à vélo sur le sentier panoramique Catskill, un voyage d'une journée à Cooperstown, ou un feu de nuit dans la fosse de feu sur la colline au-dessus de la maison. Ou peut-être vous cherchez simplement à vous détendre? Installez-vous dans un bon livre vous avez choisi à l'une des librairies de livres usagés locales ou regarder ce film vous fait des économies pour une journée tranquille. Donc ... beaucoup à faire si vous voulez .... mais seulement si vous voulez!

Great authentic farm house in a beautiful setting

We had a wonderful, too short stay here. It is beautiful location. The owner had some farm-fresh eggs for us in the refrigerator when we arrived. It’s close to the “bookstore village” of Hobart and one of our favorite places to eat - The Brushland Eating House. The house was very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed here a few times and always love our stay. The house is cozy, we love the location - the rail trail is right behind the house and we love going to the bookstores in Hobart. The hosts are always very responsive. We look forward to another stay!

Wonderful escape from reality

My daughter wanted to visit the Hobart Book Village for her Christmas present, so I thought it would be nice to stay local and find a nice quiet get-away. The Rich Farmhouse is just that. The driveway was semi-circle shaped so there was no need to worry about backing in and out. The beds were so comfortable. I even had a down comforter on the queen bed. So cozy and warm. There were not many places around to eat that were open and we needed some good quality R&R, so we opted to cook at the house. Everything we could have imagine needing was available to our surprise. We made a nice pot of chili (it's December) and did buy containers to bring the rest home with us. There were a dozen farm fresh eggs provided for us in the fridge. What a nice touch! We made omelet's each day and wow, were they fantastic!!! Overall, the home was cozy and we were able to rest on the couches and read. My daughter even went hiking on the trail behind the house a few times. This place is a true gem. We will be back. I highly recommend.

Cozy Farmhouse

We had the perfect stay in this cozy farmhouse in the country! Beautiful and convenient location. Loved that the farm owner gave us a dozen fresh eggs for our stay! Looking forward to staying again in the summer.

Farmhouse in Hobart

I had a wonderful experience in my week at the Farmhouse. Ive stayed at a good number of rentals over the years, and this is one of the very best. The house is immaculate, and so efficiently thought out. Equally compelling are the grounds - and the close proximity to the beautifull Catskill Scenic Trail. I am eagerly anticipating my next trip to the Farmhouse.

Restful stay

Your location was serene and beautiful. We had a very busy weekend with family and friends but left your house emotionally refreshed. The house brought the feeling of simpler times. Well furnished with comfy beds and everything a person could need during their stay. The dozen eggs in the fridge was an added surprise and I think the best eggs I have ever had. Can't wait for another reason to stay at Rich Farms.

Wonderful experience!

We had the best time! The house was clean with comfy beds, it had all the basic supplies we needed, and had a few fun games to play and interesting books to read during the evenings. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed exploring/walking on the property. The house was close to the bookstores in Hobart as well as delicious local restaurants. The Rich Farm farmhouse was a great place to stay. 😊

Always perfect!

We have stayed here at least once a year for as long as I can remember. It is always clean and well stocked. Our family has so many precious memories in this house. We still refer to it as “the blue house” even though it has not been blue for a very long time.

We came for a quick trip to visit the book village. The house was great! Very close to town, and we’ll stocked and very clean. They have beautiful walking trails behind the house as well. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Stay in Hobart

We had a really nice trip to the Catskills planned, and had a great time at Barbara's home. The home was easy to find, the directions she gave were very thorough, and everything was clean/organized upon arrival. What questions we had prior to arriving were answered promptly and thoroughly. We had everything we needed for ourselves and our little baby, and were even able to use the grill and walk around the property. The access to the Catskill Rail Trail cannot be beat, and it really is a perfect property for anyone wanting to get away for a few days. Unfortunately we had to cut it short after one night due to a family emergency, but Barbara was very understanding and gave us a refund for the days we were unable to stay there. This was incredibly generous, and we definitely hope to be back soon.
