„A beautiful hotel in a quiet residential area. The owner and his colleagues are most wonderful people. The rooms are super clean and the beds are comfortable. You also get served a small breakfast which is great. I had a great time at this boutique hotel and I can highly recommend it. Arrigato and matane !“

„Beautiful house with great design in really great neighborhood. For us it was okay but the stairs were very steep so keep that in mind. The bathroom is outside so not sure how comfortable this is in the winter. But it was a nicely designed bathroom and the foot bath is a great feature after a long day of walking. “

„The room was spotless, the staff was excellent from reservation to departure, the property was amazing and location was the best in the city in the Kiyomizu area. We were greeted at arrival and given an upgrade. Our bags had already been stored in our room. We had wonderful lounge experiences with the Maiko performance and the tea ceremony (which my kids loved) because it was "just enough" for them. I would recommend this hotel over and over again to anyone looking for a hotel in Kyoto.“

„Wir lieben dieses Hotel. Alleine der Eingangsbereich mit dem Wasser und den Sitzmöbeln ist eine Oase der Ruhe. Die Mitarbeiter sind unaufdringlich, und immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben an einem Tag das Frühstück aufs Zimmer bestellt, das war wirklich ein Highlight: wunderschön angerichtet, traditionelle Zutaten. Leider hatten wir keine Zeit die Private Bath Rooms zu nutzen. “

„The Abita is a boutique type hotel in a central but relatively quiet location in Kyoto. The room amenities and fittings were top rated with nice artwork touches. The staff and systems showed good management and effort to assist the guests stay. The location was good, easy walk to local subway station and further walk/subway ride to restaurants/nightlife and daytime sightseeing activity. Highly recommended for above average hotel stay in Kyoto. “
