Hôtel Hokujo, Hakuba

« The house is welcoming and Saiko the manager is the most adorable person, she’s been super kind and helpful to us, helping us with the ski rental, the taxis,… »

« We received a surprise room upgrade upon arrival. The location couldn’t be better — Right across the from the gondola (which we loved for mountain biking) The staff were SO friendly and accommodating. We loved every minute of our stay and B&D and can’t wait to come back :) Thanks so much! »

« Wonderful hotel, service, location, everything! »

« Very nicely decorated hotel. Timeless Japanese style but freshly decorated. Very modern feeling. Staff is very kind and provide excellent level of attention without being intrusive. Onsen is a little bit small but very good. Very good service provided by the owner all along our stay. Breakfast was very good and had a good variety of food offered. Staff speaks good English and was kind to call before our arrival to verify check in time and if anything was needed. Hakuba area is lovely and...

« La Neige is a great hotel, the staff is perfect, I want to come back, the premises are beautiful, so elegant, and at a good price, there’s no onsen, but no problem, there are options a few minutes away, and the hotel have an excellent transportation service. I definitely want to come back. 5 stars »

« Hotel antigo com necessidade de renovação. »

« We stayed for 17 days. The listing states "ski in / ski out access". This is untrue. The property is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There are portions of the walk that are unsafe if there is snow in the side of the roads, busses and traffic have to stop and go around pedestrians. The ski shuttle stop is at the resort. Uber/Taxi was 12 USD one way at the time of our stay/this review. There is no breakfast or food whatsoever at this hotel. There is one microwave for the entire hotel. It was...
