Relaxing and chill

This is the second year we've rented through AMLR. They are a great company. House once again was very clean and comfortable. Only Abt 3 minute bike ride to beach. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We love this island?

Great for the most part.

The property was easy to find coming from Tampa airport. First walk through everything looked great. Property was great for a short stay. We stayed the whole week utilizing a lot of the house. Some of the electrical outlets were not attached to the walls. We had to be very careful plugging-unplugging phone chargers and appliances. The property came with ample towels and it was great that it came with beach towels since we flew in. The property also provided chairs and an umbrella for the beach with a cart. We were also pleased to see they had put things in the closet that other people had left behind like laundry soap so we didn’t have to purchase just to throw away. We left toilet paper and dish soap and bug spray and sunscreen behind. Hopefully to help the next guests out. Then it came time for bed. The property did come with a king size bed which we were excited about since my husband is 6’3. Unfortunately the bed was VERY uncomfortable quite a bummer. Every day for the most part was great till our last full day at the house and the pool company came and shut our pool down from Thursday at 730 am till Friday am. They didn’t have a chlorine floater In the pool so they had to shock it while we were there. A call to the office and they tried their best to help the situation. The girls at the office were super nice. Would definitely use the Anna Maria life company again just at a different house. Thank you for a great vacation!!!

Wonderful Home and Location

This is our second visit to Anna Maria Island. I loved staying on the North part of the Island. It is quiet, slow, and beautiful. Even though there are families around, you could be in the backyard and have complete privacy. The home was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed, was clean, and very comfortable.The pool was wonderful! We rented a golf cart and I highly recommend. We could take the back streets to all the restaurants, beach, and shopping without dealing with cars!

Perfection!

The Blue Pelican was everything we hoped it would be and more! It’s compact, but has everything you could need. Comfortable beds with extra bedding, private pool, new appliances, pool and beach toys! The pool and back patio are perfection. The pool is large and has a sun deck and surprise bench seating in the deep end. We loved having a private pool and space to cool down in after a long day at the beach. The beach is walkable ( closest access point is 65th street, but we found 68th or 70th street to be best for parking a car or golf cart. ) Our family of four can’t wait to book the place again!

It was a dream

It was awesome! We were on Anna Maria in October 23. it was the first vacation for me and my little family (wife and daughter under 1). The pool area were fantastic and perfect for us. The Rentals were so nice, we asked every day for change the pool temperature because of our baby and the weather, and there was no problems about that. After changing the temperature Kevin asked „it’s ok now“. It was so nice and helpful. All in All the island is phanomenal and we will come back as soon as possible to Kevin and his funny wife.

The Perfect Getaway!

Anna Maria Island Thanksgiving paradise

After hosting Thanksgiving for over 20 years we decided to give ourselves a break this year and head to Anna Maria Island for the week. The Blue Pelican was perfect for our family. My husband and I and our two teenage boys found the place to be just right for us. The pictures on the listing look just like it appears in person. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the showers both inside and out had great water pressure and the laundry closet was stocked with detergent for the week. Our favorite space was the quiet and private fenced in backyard, so beautiful with all the palm trees surrounding the clean and warm pool. Just blocks from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Renting bikes and a golf cart made the trip even more enjoyable for exploring the island. The property had beach chairs, umbrellas, skim board, a cart and toys for our use as well. We will definitely be back to Anna Maria Island and would highly recommend staying at the Blue Pelican!

Great place, better location!

We absolutely had the best time. Great little place within a few blocks of the beach! Private pool in the back was perfect! The kids loved it! We even had a chance to meet the owner, he was very nice and helpful. We had a small plumbing issue that was handled but the communication from Dana and Kevin was great. Will definitely be back! Thanks!

Lovely beach stay

The property was as described and suited all our needs. Well appointed and location great for beach access and close to some great places to eat. The beds were really comfy. The pool could have been cleaner on arrival and side sitting area bit dirty and unappealing but overall we had a great stay.

We had a great time at this house. The walk seemed a little far to the beach but we appreciated all the beach stuff (4 chairs, two umbrellas/sun shades and toys to be ply with. The pool was nice as another option to cool off. We loved AMI.

Amazing house on an amazing island!

We absolutely loved this little house! It was perfect for our family of four. It was the cutest house and was SO well stocked!! It had beach chairs, pool floats, beach umbrellas and a cabana, and a cart to transport all of it. The beach is just under a half mile walk that was flat and easy. The water was so calm and clear! Our kids found so many sand dollars, crabs, and shells. Manatees swan right up to the beach every day! We spent our days at the beach and our evenings swimming in the pool in the beautiful backyard. It was a tropical oasis! The kids loved having their own bedroom and bathroom. The master bedroom had a king size bed and the bathroom was right next to it. The island is so chill and we could walk to several restaurants and shops. Note that most everything shuts down at 9pm, so plan accordingly. We found that we had to go to eat dinner at 5 or else it would quickly turn into a 2 hr wait. We have found our new favorite beach and vacation destination. We will definitely rent this house again!

Perfect Beach House!

This was our first time on Anna Maria Island and we couldn’t have picked a better rental! 2 blocks from the beach. Walked to the beach every night to watch the sunset. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Very clean! Had plenty of bath and beach towels, hair dryer, beach umbrellas and chairs, everything we needed. The backyard is beautiful and very private. The owners were staying on the other side of the duplex. Great couple! Made us feel very welcome and at home. Gave us lots of great restaurant ideas where the locals go. Even put a towel to dry the seats on our golf cart after it rained one night. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to relax!

My family of four had one of the most relaxed and refreshing stays at this property, with the HUGE amenity of the private pool. We enjoyed it so much that it was difficult for us to get out of the pool before sunset.

Look no further!

House was as described in pictures, and very clean. Owners were previous renters, so they know what you want to have when you get there, and it's all there. Comfortable beds! Six minute walk to the beach (with a nice litte piece of artwork for directions!). House includes beach chairs, beach umbrella, and a wheeled cart to get them to the beach! Pool was nice and private, and came with nice floaty chairs. Overall, a great stay; if you're looking to go to Anna Maria Island; look no further!

Great beach vacation

We loved our time at this property. It had a fantastic heated pool and backyard space that we used multiple times a day, a well equipped kitchen, and was a short walk to the beach. If we return to Anna Maria Island we would stay here again.

Awesome property

We where extremely happy with our this property it is perfect for a family of 4. Very clean and well stocked. The pool and backyard exceeded our expectations. The location to the best strip of beach on the entire island is within walking distance. We will absolutely stay here again.
