This is my first time ever leaving a negative review, but I was very disappointed with this Vrbo listing. First we were told we could check in at 4. We arrived around 4:10. when we arrived we were not able to access the unit because the cleaning people were inside cleaning and parked in the units parking spot (there are two covered parking spaces, one was occupied by a car belonging to the other unit, and this units spot was occupied by the cleaning staff). The unit is located on a busy road so street parking is not an option. Once the cleaning people finally left we were able to get inside. The unit itself is in decent condition. However, the pool was in terrible shape the entire week we were there. I started complaining on the second day of our stay. The next day they asked for pictures, which I sent. No response that day. On day four of our trip they said someone would be out to clean the pool but no one showed up. On day 5 of our trip someone finally came out. At this point the pool was a dark green and so cloudy you could not see to the bottom. Despite the pool people coming, the issue was not resolved. The pool did get a little clearer and lighter green, but was still green and cloudy when we left. I asked for a partial refund due to the condition of the pool, but this was ignored. I specifically booked a condo with a pool because one of my kids much prefers the pool to the beach. The pool was a huge disappointment, so don’t book if you value a pool.
