„The hotel had a bit of character and was well located for access to the coast and nearby sights. Our room was large and comfortable with a table and chairs, plenty of storage space. The grounds were a good size, well maintained and great for sitting outside. Dinner was very good in a conservatory dining room. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, happy to chat and offer advice on places to visit and things to do. A very enjoyable short stay “

„Room was very small and pretty basic for the price (£120/night): bathroom basic, e.g. untiled floor, window looks out to another roof/wall. Other rooms may be different; this was the last available room as I just booked a day before. The area is okay but very quiet on a saturday night, which cannot be said from Inn. As a DJ is playing, you will hear the music as a background noise in the room. Parking opportunity is great and room was very clean. All in all it was an enjoyable stay, but not ...

„We stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. “

„Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! The bed is also tucked under the eves on one side so again be aware when getting up in the night as it is very close to your ...

„Terrible mattress on one of the 3 single beds in my room. Single meaning really narrow. I actually switched beds in the middle of the night, for a better but still far too lumpy mattress for my taste. Staff and owners were great, breakfast was good, but ultimately a pub up on a hill with rather rowdy guests on a friday night. Still: value for money, but I‘ll rather spend a bit more next time.“

„Just a one night stay-we were welcomed warmly and shown to a lovely room overlooking the marshes -with the sea in the distance. The room was light and airy,bed comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The optional evening meal was very good...we chose from the 'specials'. The breakfast menu was extensive and service was timely...given that there were a lot of guests to serve. Overall a relaxing,pleasant stay“
