Very nice ground floor unit. Not much of a view (parking lot). It was well stocked with little things in the kitchen that former guest had left behind. It was very convenient to have the grocery store across the street. I loved the location. Easy to get around the island if you have a car. The pool is a very nice and spread out. Bed was very comfortable.

The property management company was not responsive. Sofa bed was broken & they were notified immediately upon check in & it was never resolved. They considered the sofa bed an amenity and not necessary. A toaster is an amenity not a bed to sleep in. Horrible customer service. The pictures of the property are outdated. The view is 100% obstructed in the bedroom as the dresser is now in front of the window and the sofa is now in front of the balcony. The bar stools are now wood with no backs, the window in the bedroom is duct taped. There are broken tiles upon entry and the living room and bedroom floor is separating and lifting in spots. The curtains need to be washed as there are stains all over them. The living room chair is stained and needs a deep cleaning. The fan was coated in dust and needs a good vacuum. The outlets on either side of the bed were not working. The air conditioner is a wall unit in the living room on the floor and not sealed good. The air was not on upon arrival and a note on the back of the door stating that you were not allowed to keep the air on while gone or you'd be charged. The entry light was burned out. It's a great location but you need a management company that will keep up your property and be responsive. We booked your property as it had 2 beds and 1 was broken. Only 1 person could actually sleep in the room. I had to go sleep with my sister in the room she rented in the other tower.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Exactly as advertised and fit our needs and expectations perfectly. A short walk to the beach and shops. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

The location was fantastic with great views. There were some nice extras with toys in the closet. My only concerns were that we were getting concerned about the access details as we were in transit when an answer came through. The elevators were under construction as well so at certain times it was a long ride. I would go back and use this apartment again in a heartbeat though.

Overall a good place to stay. Great location to everything and still a block away from the from the night life noise. Door to condo was not the easiest to ensure it was locked leaving us feeling not so secure of our belongings. Sliding door to bathroom needs repair. It is noisy and rubbed in the door jam, so woke each of us up when used at night. Air conditioner was super noisy when running. Otherwise a good stay for the cost.

We stayed here for a few nights in December 2022. It was close to every place we wanted to visit. This unit was all the way up at the top which was great. Some views of the water could be seen. The patio needed a bit of maintenance but other than that we enjoyed it very much.

We have stayed at this location before a few years ago, however this time our Condo was showing the age of time, the towels were very well used, the balcony gave us a great view, however sitting out there with all the bird poop all over the tiles and chairs and cushions made it very uncomfortable, and lastly we found out we had to buy our own toilet paper

Best part of theirs condo was the view. The condo itself was nice; however, the drain in the shower ran extremely slow. Therefore, by the time you are done with your shower, you are standing in 3” of dirty water. Called Vacasa several times. Main office in Maui I guess. They kept telling me they would have someone from Oahu call me. No one ever called even though I asked for someone to clear the drain a number of times. Then there was no key given to us for the door that leads to the parking lot 
. Thus if we got home late at night, we would have to walk down several flights of stairs to get to the elevators on the first floor. I requested a key at least 3 or 4 times with absolutely no remedy. All other times I stayed at Waikiki Banyan, I was given a key to those parking lot doors. Bad service in terms because no one from Oahu ever addresses our issues.

Property was very clean but there were no beach towels or tea towels. The toilet did not work well & there was no tub mat which made it slippery & dangerous in the bathtub. We had a lovely view of the ocean from the balcony

Just like the pictures shown. Lots of amenities included. I read some reviews saying there was lack of supplies but we had more than we needed. Extra linens and beach supplies in the closet. Beachfront view was spectacular everyday. Close walk to Waikiki beach and plenty of stores close by. Loved sitting out on the lanai to enjoy the views. Even with shutting off the AC unit while we were out of the condo then turning it on when we got back; we had no issues with the place cooling down for comfort. Highly recommended and would choose to stay here again.

The condo is adequate, but needs a thorough cleaning. The supplies are old and the furniture is outdated. The outdoor furniture is unsafe and needs to be replaced. The pillows and extra bedding for the sofa bed is old and stained. There are too many tables in the condo, making the space very tight. Some of the electric outlets and switches need to be replaced. The Wifi is spotty. It just needs to be updated.

This was a nice, convenient location two blocks from Waikiki Beach. As is true with most hotels/condos in Waikiki, the buildings are aging, and the same was true of this one. However, there was little to no negative impact caused by what is pretty normal in Waikiki these days. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Their response to previous concerns by reviewer in NOV re sliding door etc have not been address as they say they have I have just left the condo and these are still issues I In need of attention. The condition of condo is poor ( does not reflect price) the wood flooring is extensively water damaged is black/ brow stained in colour around air conditioning system extends into bedroom and the flooring is uneven lifting and splitting throughout condo The sliding door to lanai did not close properly it had to be lifted and pulled repeatedly(very difficult) to get it closed made you reconsider sitting outside The walls (corners ) had missing gyproc all over in need of repairs and paint missing on wall behind bed The sofa and throw rug desperately need cleaning There were no dish towels or dish cloths no dishwasher detergent had to ask for some and was told by local manager after over 6 hours would be delivered at her convenience The condo has no beach or pool towels not even a laundry basket to help take your laundry to the far end of the hall over all poorly stocked no extras. Worst condo I have ever stayed at in the Banyan This was #18 at the Banyan I have stayed at and have never Given a bad review EVER!!! Always over looked the odd flaw or short coming but just can’t keep quiet about this place DO NOT RENT PICK A DIFFERENT CONDO

Overall very nice . I would suggest to have more than 3 rolls of toilet paper for 6 nights. I had to buy more. Also no bath Matt to prevent slipping on a wet floor . A light bulb went out and no extras. The bathroom plug didn’t work so I had to dry my hair in the living room. Thankful they came and replaced outlet. The owners might want to check out the air conditioning unit that drips on the outside patio. I noticed the bamboo flooring inside looks like it is being damaged from water and has dark black areas which could be growing mold!!This could be a major Heath hazard if not checked.
