This was a very comfortable and peaceful cabin! Had all the amenities we needed, loved the hot tub and sauna. Everyone in the community was very friendly, we loved walking to the beach. This was a great place to wind down and just enjoy the day!

Our 6-night stay at “Happy Place” was superb. Beautiful, peaceful area. Cabin is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Hosts have thought of everything to make guests comfortable during their stay.

The cabin was extremely comfortable, and very well equiped with absolutely everything we could want or need. The guest book gave us a good idea of how to spend our weekend and the hosts are very kind and generous.

A perfect getaway. The location and house itself were both even better than I was expecting. The house is clean and updated with all the amenities you could want, and it feels more like a nice hotel than a lake cabin. Just minutes to the beach, and all the forested areas you could wish to explore are nearby. The host is super friendly with great communication and set the place up for me, again, like a nice hotel might. I can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tim and Sally’s place. Everything was so comfortable and clean and easily accessible. This was a first time at a VRBO and we are really glad this was our first choice!! I loved sitting outside on the deck and listening to the birds and resident squirrels. Thank you for the communication regarding directions, etc. What a lovely stay…next time we’ll stay longer!!

Everything was more than great! If you’re lucky enough to get some snow up there, the sauna and fireplace really elevate the experience along with just the overall coziness of it all. Easy directions and not far from town if you need to go back and grab a few things. Would love to stay again!

Clean, comfortable, dog-friendly cabin with beautiful views, a cozy fireplace, and a hot tub. The porch was perfect for relaxing and hanging out, and the hot tub was ideal for unwinding in the evenings. A peaceful, well-equipped retreat with everything yoy need—we would gladly return.

We had such a lovely stay here! Tim was extremely responsive and truly such a thoughtful and kind host. We enjoyed the sauna, morning coffee on the deck with a beautiful view, cozy movie nights by the fireplace, swimming in the lake, the extremely comfortable king sized bed, and nearby trails. The house was equipped with everything we needed (they truly have put so much thought and care into the Happy Place). Our dog Moe can be picky about new places and even he loves it here! We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you so much to you and your wife for hosting us!

This place has it all! Beautiful, cozy cabin. The hosts are so sweet and thoughtful. The hot tub was just what we needed after a chilly wet day of mushroom picking and exploring. Hopefully we will be back next year for our 8 year anniversary.

Tim our host was amazing, he answered all our questions and made sure we felt welcomed. They left us a bottle of wine which was so kind. The place was cozy and relaxing for our getaway. Totally recommend this place.

Lovely cabin, cozy, warm, secluded and private. The two person hot tub and sauna were absolutely amazing after a long day hiking! The hospitality was phenomenal and the cabin was rustic and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin, hiking to waterfalls, enjoying the local restaurants and shops! Cushman lake was beautiful, we loved the lake and will definitely be back to experience the outdoor activities and surroundings!
