The Space:

Welcome to Cielo y Mar Beach House, a spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom beach retreat in Punta Santiago with direct beach access and room for up to 8 guests.



Enjoy your days by the ocean and come home to a private jacuzzi, spacious indoor and outdoor areas, a pool table, multiple TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, and fun beach gear including kayaks and paddle boards.





LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT



The main living area is located on the second floor and offers a comfortable space for everyone to gather, with ample seating, air conditioning, and a large TV.

The home also features a separate entertainment area with a pool table and an additional TV, giving groups plenty of space to spread out.

There are 5 TVs throughout the property, located in the living room, entertainment/pool table area, and each of the three bedrooms.





SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



Cielo y Mar comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests:



- PRIMARY BEDROOM – Second Floor: 1 Queen Bed + private full bathroom

- GUEST BEDROOM #1 – First Floor: 1 Full Bed

- GUEST BEDROOM #2 – Second Floor: 1 Full Bed + 1 Bunk Bed (2 Twin Beds)



Each bedroom has its own TV and air conditioning.



The home has 3 full bathrooms—one on the first floor and two on the second floor.





PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):



We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





KITCHEN & DINING



The fully equipped kitchen is located on the second floor and has everything you need for meals at home, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and other everyday essentials.



The kitchen and living spaces make it easy for everyone to stay together while cooking, dining, or relaxing.





OUTDOOR LIVING & BEACH ACCESS



The best part of Cielo y Mar is right outside your door.



The property offers direct access to the beach, so you can go from the house to the shoreline in just moments.



Guests can also enjoy the private jacuzzi, outdoor patio, and second-floor balcony—perfect for relaxing after a beach day and enjoying the tropical breeze.

LAUNDRY & BEACH GEAR



A washer and dryer are available in the first-floor storage room for your convenience.



The storage room also includes beach and outdoor gear for guests to enjoy, including:



- 2 single kayaks with paddles

- 2 paddle boards with paddles

- Fishing equipment

- Beach chairs

- Body boards



Everything is conveniently stored on-site so you can make the most of your time by the water.





GETTING AROUND & PARKING



The property includes parking for up to four (4) cars.



We strongly recommend renting a car to be able to move around the area. Ubers are not readily available in the area and cannot be relied on.





LOCATION



Cielo y Mar Beach House is located directly on the coast in Punta Santiago, Humacao, offering easy access to the beach and a relaxed local atmosphere.



There is plenty to explore nearby:



- Enjoy the beach right from the property. Cielo y Mar offers direct beach access, so you can head from the house to the shoreline in just moments.



- Visit the Humacao Nature Reserve. A great option for enjoying the outdoors, nature trails, coastal scenery, and local wildlife.



- Explore the Punta Santiago Pier area. Take a walk, enjoy the ocean views, and take in the laid-back atmosphere of this coastal community.



- Spend the day at Palmas del Mar. Located about 20 minutes away, Palmas del Mar offers restaurants, beaches, golf, and other resort-style activities. Day passes may be available through ResortPass.



Please note that beach conditions in Punta Santiago can vary throughout the year due to tides and weather. If conditions are not ideal during your stay, Seven Seas Beach in Fajardo is another beautiful option, approximately 45 minutes away.



Other Things to Note:

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge

- A small amount of laundry detergent



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 8 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
