« Fabulous winter stay at The Cosy Retreat. A lovely apartment which was cosy and warm on a cold December week. The thermostat was easy to use and the place heated up so quickly. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the pub which serves food all day and also a few minutes walk from the swimming pool/sauna/steam room which we used every day. The apartment is a five minute walk from the bus stop and so we used the bus to visit Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough, rather than driving and we found...

« We really enjoy coming to The Bay and this year was no exception until New Year’s Eve when Fireworks were going off near our cottage! Our dog is absolutely terrified of them and was unfortunately left very distressed! We pay a lot of money each year to go to The Bay as it is a firework free place so we would definitely think twice before booking in future! Which is a massive shame. »

« Lovely quaint walk through several levels of walkways and beautuful traditional cottages. Tucked away surrounded by cottage gardens. Like stepping back in time. Beautiful weather surprisingly. Lovely friendly people. Shops and places to eat and drink , within 5 mins through the street's. Very steep hill and steps add to rhe charm of the winding roads down to the bay front. Photographers heaven. 4th time here over the years with small changes to eateries. »
