I would not recommend staying at any property managed by New Spirit Vacation homes. Prior to check in we were told our booked cabin was undergoing maintenance and we were being upgraded... okay, no problem. The new cabin already had people staying at the property when we entered. We called the New Spirit Vacation homes manager. She worked to get us into another "upgrade", after cleaning staff could turn it around. The management company tried to rectify every issue that came up, which is a positive, however, issue after issue was discovered the longer we stayed, and it gave us the overall impression that the company was not actually prepared to host to the advertised level. I feel that this company is taking advantage of their clients. It became frustrating to constantly find another thing that wasnt available or didnt work during only a two night stay. Cleanliness was sub par (mud marks on white linens and carpet in the bathroom of the "upgrade")-The microwave didnt work and had to be replaced-There were no coffee filters-No lighter for the fire place-The wifi password in the welcome book was wrong and there is zero bars of cell service at the cabin-The Roku didnt work-There was one set of batteries that had to be switched between remotes and no extras-The dinning table and one of the chairs were broken and fell over when anything was placed on top. -No soap provided in the master bathroom. -drugs left behind by previous stay-not a great place for a carefree stay
