„We stayed here for 1 night on our UP road trip but wished we would have stayed more! The cabin was super cute and clean and had plenty of space for our family of 5! The kids loved the kayaks and playing in the water. We enjoyed the fire pit that night. The convenience store on the island was great and has a lot of what we needed. We would definitely love to come back and stay longer next time.“

„My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!“
