„Cute place close to the park and a short drive to Bar Harbor. Very clean and well appointed, but we did have a bunch of fruit flies in the kitchen that were annoying and 3 of the butcher knives were rusty. Overall, a nice stay and we would go back. “

„This property was perfect for our family of five! Comfortable beds and everything was very neat and clean. Would not hesitate to book this place again! It was so helpful to have laundry detergent provided, as well as things like ziplock baggies. It's the little details that makes places so nice to stay in! The only thing to add would be an electric water kettle for the tea drinkers. “

„Housing was just as pictured and described, and it was awesome to not be in the crowded Bar Harbor scene. JF and Sue were fantastic hosts and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Would definitely recommend. “

„My 84 year old father and I had a delightful stay in this beautifully modern and extremely clean apartment. Great proximity to other family staying in Somesville, at Mt Desert Campground - and in Manset. The ride into Bar Harbor etc is not far at all. Kira was so accomodating but at the same time respected our privacy. The grounds are gorgeous and the approach to the house is wonderfully 'Maine'.Definitely looking to rebook for next year! “

„Very clean, modern space. Property owner was very informative and gave perfect instructions for check in/out. Apt was in great location, at end of village, in quiet area of town, but within walking distance to everything, no need to drive for Village activities. Included all necessities. Only upgrade I would suggest would be to add a full length mirror in the bedrooms or somewhere in apt. Otherwise, no complaints! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!“

„We loved our stay! Pictures didn’t do it justice as indoor and outdoor spaces exceeded our expectations. Owners were accomodating, quick to respond, and made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Would absolutely stay here again.For those looking to explore Acadia National Park and sourrounding areas, this side of the island was more relaxed, more authentic, cooler in temp, and more laid back. The owners of this space also own a restaurant in Southwest Harbor called Eat -a - Pita, ...

„The included breakfast was so good and highly recommended. There was an electrical outlet in the bathroom that didn’t work. Also, not sure if it was us, but we couldn’t get the door to lock. However, for the location, cleanliness. We would stay here again. I might recommend a bigger refrigerator since we did have leftovers and they didn’t always fit in the fridge. “

„This was the perfect location, away from the hustle bustle of Bar Harbor, but close enough to all parts of MDI to easily get around. There was also great access to Acadia National Park and the Park Loop Road and the Carriage Roads. The p[lace was perfect. We would stay here again. “

„We were given an upgrade gratis to the upstairs, large, 2-bed, apartment. Totally equipped with lovely furniture, some antique, some very modern, high-end appliances, cookery and local pottery dish-ware. Modern/eclectic vibe within an old building. Thoughtful details everywhere from desk to gorgeous bath. Clean. Comfy beds. Lush towels. A little noisy due to being right on the street but the large back deck and sofa set are fabulous.“

"Die Unterkunft ist in Ordnung. Allerdings riecht das Zimmer aufgrund des erneuerungswürdigen Teppichs stark. Das Bett ist gut, der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Allerdings wird das Zimmer nicht täglich gereinigt. Die Erreichbarkeit des Nationalparks ist sehr gut. "
