„Eine der schönsten Ferienwohnungen, die wir je hatten, absolute Empfehlung 😀!!! Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gepflegt und super ausgestattet. Nichts hat gefehlt. Aus dem Erker im Wohnzimmer hat man seitlichen Meerblick. Unten im Haus ist ein Café mit leckeren Pasties. Im Garten kann man gemütlich sitzen. Gute Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.“

„We had a fabulous week staying at Farthings Nest. The view from our garden was amazing. The prior had everything we needed, it was well furnished with high quality appliances and gadgets! Very comfy bed too. Steph was very welcoming. We would definitely recommend and go back again. “

„The experience does not align to the website. Buildings in poor state or repair woth wooden external staircase broken. First apartment smelt so bad requested immediate change. 2nd apartment at mininum expected standard. Pillows very hard, beds uncomfortable. Surrounding area and tenants concerning. Left a day early.“

„I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. If I could give 1 bit of feedback it’s that the changing room for the pool is an open 1 room which the boys ...

„Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. “

„We had a fantastic vacation in the Norton's wonderful holiday home. The space is amazing - the lower bedroom was very accessible to my elderly mother and her friend and they were so happy when they saw the elevator! We had very hot weather but the flat stayed nice and cool. The location is ideal - walkable for everything in Ilfracombe and an easy drive to other North Devon locations. I would highly recommend it! “

„Overall was very pleasant. Check in and out was a breeze. Any problems the owner was on the end of the phone all the time. The views from the accommodation were amazing and had all you need. Is pretty steep tho but as to be expected so are most parts of devon. Great week had by all thnaks Ben for making our stay easy will come back.“

„Gründe für die Buchung waren: WLAN, Parkplatz und Waschmaschine. WLAN gab es in der FeWo nicht. Der Parkplatz war 200 m entfernt, öffentlich und kostete jeden Tag extra, die Waschmaschine für die gesamte Etage funktionierte nicht (fraß Geld, aber arbeitete nicht), die öffentliche Laundrette liegt am anderen Ende der Stadt. Aber sonst haben wir es uns ganz nett gemacht.“

"Das Hotel liegt zentral im Ort Ilfracombe. Egal ob man auf dem Coast Trail wandern möchte, im Ort ins Restaurant will, bei Lidl einkaufen oder zu Hafen: Es ist alles fußläufig. Parken kann man kostenlos in den Seitenstraßen, wenn man bereit ist ca. 1 km weit zu laufen oder sich etwas länger auf die Parkplatzsuche zu begeben. Das Hotel selbst ist sauber aber renovierungsbedürftig. Unser Zimmer war preiswert aber dafür klein und mit Blick auf einen Innenhof (daher sehr ruhig). Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel selbst wird überwiegend von Golden Agers besucht. Dementsprechend ist auch die Live Musik am Abend ;-) Dank Lidl um die Ecke haben wir auf Verpflegung im Hotel verzichtet."
