« Great little apartment with fantastic views across the estuary. Location fantastic with a ten minute walk to Instow and the beach. Apartment very well equipped. Lovely little touches with decorations ( almost too many not leaving much work top space in the kitchen). Up to date photos would be good on cottages.comMay be a bit cosy with 4 adults (we were 3 adults and dog )Slightly nit picking, would have helped to have settee across the lounge facing TV. Got a bit of neck ache. ( Especially if 3...

« Lovely property just perfect for our two night stay. Great central location. We had a great break and the weather was lovely »

« Very Nice Cottage, Direct at the Waterfront with a nice view. The cottage has everything that you Need for daily life. »

« The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). I called the number given and was asked for a lot of information including my...

« What a beautiful cottage! We had a wonderful week. We had a small issue, which Mark bent over backwards to help sort out. It felt like home and we loved it. A great base for exploring the north coast, the community shop was a godsend. Highly recommended. »

« We had a comfortable stay in Grace Cottage and enjoyed our week there. The accommodation was tastefully decorated and furnished and there was plenty of room for the 2 of us and our dog. The owners, Steve and Nicole made us very welcome with scones, clotted cream and jam and there was milk in the fridge and some delicious fruit juice. The location was traffic free and there was a lovely garden space to sit in. The local community shop was well stocked and proved very useful. »

« Enough space for 6 of us, 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog. The house was arranged with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs and the living quarters upstairs. The boys enjoyed the football table and PS4, and the dog enjoyed the small private garden and the enclosed field across the road. The property was clean and well looked after, and whilst very close to the House, we didn't hear any noise from our neighbours. »

« A comfortable clean compact cottage in an incredible location close to Hartland Quay and Hartland Point, the only minor issue being the sharp entry and exit to and from the drive. The cottage being upside down with the living area on the first floor and bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor is well equipped kitchen wise and an enormous double bed and dog friendly.Overall a very pleasant comfortable and welcoming cottage. »

« We chose this cottage due to its location in Appledore and that it's dog friendly. We stayed in Apple Tree cottage. It was a lovely surprise to see what lay behind the No 5 door. The cottage was clean and cosy. Tastefully decorated. It was well equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. Free WiFi. TV with Net Flix etc.Nice bathroom with bath and shower. It is close to all the amenities Appledore has to offer. It is an ideal base to discover North Devon, which is beautiful. The garden...

« Lovely location and accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for 3 of us. »

« All round very good experience »

« A beautiful little cottage, modern and very clean. Lovely decor and very pet friendly. The owners could not have been friendlier, such a nice helpful couple. Plenty of places to visit within a short distance. For a dog friendly beach, it has to be beautiful Summerleaze in Bude, with it's beach Lido, there's also a beautiful walk along the canal. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage. »

« Lovely place to stay with good facilities and EV charging, quiet and warm .Leave a donation for the EV charging, 7Kw type 2.Good wifi and Netflix. »

« We loved it, dogs loved it , garden could be a bit more secure though, but we just stayed out with them. Lovely views and some gorgeous beaches not to far away in the car. Everything you need is there, but a bread knife, was a bit hard to cut an unsliced loaf 🤣 »

« I don’t know if a review is needed as day 2 of our stay a for sale board appeared outside! Room sizes great. As November we didn’t use the outside facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. The radiator in the family bathroom a friend burnt herself. It does get red hot so be careful. We struggled a bit with the heating as it was really cold at the beginning and then extremely warm. We knew it was remote but anyone not wanting to walk may find it a bit remote. Had a fantastic stay with some great...
