« Great staff lovely breakfast but noisy until the pub closes but really quiet after that until staff arrive at 7ish to start breakfast.Location is good only a very short walk to town centre.Parking can be a real issue no blue badge spaces nearby on street parking but very busy when we were there & had to park a few streets away.On street parking is limited to 1-2 hours between 10am-6pm Mon-Sat so a bit of an issue for us.As my husband is disabled staff did offer for us to open the courtyard gates...

« Fantastic little place. Proper country pub, with good food and really good beers. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and really helpful. The rooms stable yard style chaletes and round the back, when it's peaceful and quiet. They're spacious, warm and cozy and as well equipped as you could reasonably expect. Serviced daily and if you're staying during the week, at least, they're an absolute bargain. »

« A clean room with a comfortable bed in easy walking distance of the town centre. The room was quite small and a bit cramped as was the bed but OK for one night. There are a few minor maintenance issues that could be sorted to improve the experience but nothing major. Good shower and friendly staff. I would stay again but probably upgrade to a superior room if available for a larger bed and more space. Overall good value. »

« Nice bustling friendly pub. Good hearty food and a range of ales. Room clean and comfortable, but with only a roof view. (Not an issue for a short stay). Excellent range of breakfast with friendly attentive staff member. Car parking a little thin behind the pub (I was in a classic car), but free parking also available in village square opposite. Super close to Snetterton motor circuit. »

« L'hôtel est juste en face de la gare, ce qui est pratique. Le personnel est très gentil, et le pub/resto de l'hôtel est refait à neuf et relativement bien. Cependant, l'hôtel en lui-même est bien décevant. Nous avions une chambre pour deux avec salle de bain privative, une pour deux sans, et une chambre individuelle. Dans la salle de bain privative, la chasse des toilettes ne marchait pas toujours. La chambre individuelle côté rivière est une vrai cocotte minute. Le tuyau d'eau chaude...

« I was staying in the ground floor room, which was very spacious as was the ensuite shower room. Nice touch of fresh milk in fridge. Wifi was okay. Got advice as to where to go for evening meal which was good. Great cooked breakfast. Lovely hosts. »

« Our two-night stay was delightful. Kirstie was so welcoming, chatty and friendly. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a view over the private garden so very quiet. Kirstie offered a varied breakfast menu, including some home produce. Our whole experience at Copperbeech was a delight and we would heartily recommend it. »

« We had a lovely stay at Little Barham that we were staying at for a family party and trip to Colchester Zoo. It was a super comfortable bed, lovely setup with the zed bed for our son, lovely tea/coffee facilities and fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was amazing with eggs from the chickens laid that morning. They’re such a lovely couple running it and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs which we are hugely grateful for. »
