We checked in and we walked into our room. It smelled like cigarettes, even though the room was a non-smoking room. We tried contacting the lobby through the hotel phone and it was unplugged. We also noticed that the smoke detector was not attached to it. I had to call customer service to give me the lobbies phone number when I finally contact the lobby. They came to check the room because they said that we had had 20 minutes being in there, but we took that time to look for our room. We finally got another room and the key was not working and the door handle was loose like someone had tried to break in did not feel safe so we requested a refund to book another location. We did not stay there when we were getting a refund. What look like the manager Said good luck trying to find another reservation at another location because everything else is booked up. She was so rude and walked out. The front desk was really kind and helpful and very understanding and was so embarrassed that the manager spoke to us that way.
