Hello and thank you for your review! Please note, your unit did not have a window AC, it had a mini-split unit that is located in the sleeping area. It is sufficient enough to regulate the temperature in a room double the size of the room you stayed in. During your next visit, please do not hesitate to reach out if you are having issues regulating the temperature in your unit. We provide all guests with access to regulating the temperature to their liking. Your unit is equipped with a remote for this purpose. We hope to have you back again in the future!

Hi Ed, Thank you for your honest review! Our small, family owned resort was built in the 60s. Our room sizes, as well as all amenities, are listed on Expedia. Our prices reflect our room sizes. The room you stayed in is a very popular choice because of the low cost. There are pictures on Expedia to show the size of this room. Being that we are an 11-unit resort with 4 different buildings and only 5 upstairs units total (split between 4 buildings) it would be nearly impossible for a business our size to afford and maintain 4 elevators. Again, Expedia notes that our upstairs units are accessible by stairs only, and the room you chose does specify that it is an upstairs unit. To launch the kayaks we have a wide, aluminum staircase that goes directly into the ocean. Our staff is available during office hours to assist with launching kayaks. We appreciate your honest review and hope to see you again in the future. Next time, please call us to book a reservation so that you can be assured a ground floor unit that is larger.
