Family vacation success
The property was great, we had a wonderful vacation and it’s a great set up for families. We had a 4yo and almost 2 yo and the house is across the street from the community pool and a 5 min walk to the beach- location couldn’t be better! The house seemed like it was geared towards families with little kids- sturdy furniture, not too many sharp edges, lots of TVs etc which was appreciated.
Only criticisms is that the house was lacking some basic items that you’d expect in rental, especially in the kitchen (cutting boards, kitchen towels, dishwasher a little broken- usable but not great), which was frustrating to have to deal with upon arrival. And there were no beach items ti use- no chairs, umbrellas, etc. which is hard because vacationers can’t bring that stuff from home.
Additionally, there is no grilling permitted in the house which was disappointing. That might be a Wild Dunes requirement tho but was a bummer
