„In der Gegend gibt es keine große Auswahl, daher war ich für meine Geschäftstermine schon öfter in diesem Hotel. Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber die Zimmer sind renoviert und haben gute Betten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist eher einfach gehalten. Die Bar ist originell.“

„Empfangspersonal war nicht mal in der Lage, uns den Fußweg in die Stadt auf dem Stadtplan aufzuzeichnen. Hotel hat einen Restaurationsstau von mehreren Jahrzehnten. Im Bad fallen die Kacheln von der Wand, der Wasserhahn ebenfalls. Viel zu überteuert.“

„The house and grounds are beautiful. They reminded us of a fine English country house. Sarah and Ryan are ideal B&B hosts; friendly but not intrusive. Cold wine, beer and soft drinks were available in for guests to help themselves, as well as tea and coffee. We were attracted to the Howarth Suite with its whirlpool tub, and were not disappointed. It was large, full of beautiful and interesting things (as was the rest of the house), and the tub was easily big enough for two and worked very well. ...
