« Room was super small, claustrophobic and desperately needing updating. The air conditioner was spotty at best as the temperature outside was over 100 and the rooms were about 80. The ice machine was broken, so a bag of ice with a spatula was in their kitchen fridge and super unsanitary. Terrible stay and would not recommend!!!! »

« Do not stay at Purple Lizard Villa. The photos in the listing did not accurately represent the room we were given. We arrived late at night to a property with zero outdoor lighting — it was completely pitch black. As two women traveling alone, this immediately felt unsafe. Inside, there were broken and missing bathroom blinds with no privacy, black residue on multiple walls, and most alarming, a front door lock that was not secure. « Ethan was awesome and very accommodating!! Great location!! Rooms are nice. Loved the electric fireplace that emitted great heat!! Convenient to Sedona and trails. The site is under new ownership so I get they are working out some kinks. A few opportunities for improvement would be better lighting in the room and clarity that the kitchen is not community shared but also would be good to know breakfast was included (at least it was the weekend we were there) and there is a fridge in each room. ...
