„Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.“

„We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. „The views from my bedroom window were amazing. And the superior room I had was massive and very comfortable. Dinner was delicious with a pie to die for. A well kept terrace taking in those views across the Wye valley again. Nice easy car park and lovely staff. Special mention must go to the lady at breakfast who was utterly perfect. She could not possibly have been more helpful - her service and attitude were brilliant. Thanks for a lovely day stay. “

„A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens.“
