Hotel Joetsu

« Staff was helpfull and friendly. Unfortunately the rooms on our level were on "party mode". The staff at the hotel were convenient to help us with the situation, when I called the front desk. I believe were just unlucky with the other tenants. Hotel is a bit old school. Breakfast was nice, well organized and cuisine staff were very efficient! Over all, good place to lodge for the ski :) »

« We had a room with a nice Mountain View. They had some fireworks display at night also. »

« Great place »

« The staff are so lovely here and very helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area and places to eat. »

« Picture doesn't do justice. I mean it's not bad but it's old! We still had a good night. »

« The hotel is located near the ski lift, which is very convenient. You can also rent your ski gear from the hotel. The continental breakfast is very good. However, the hotel is really outdated and dirty. The common areas were full of live and dead bugs, and the wifi was not accessible in the room. The room was clean though, but some bugs made their way to the room. There is only one restaurant in the town. It is a 12 minute walk from the hôtel and it closes early (6pm). Cash payment only. There...

« The overall vibe of the hotel is kind of lived in and quiet. It definitely needs a little update here and there while still being able to preserve the aesthetic of Japan culture and touches. There was only one other guest staying but for some reason it showed as completely booked out. Unfortunately, the showers and onsen has select opening times so you couldn't shower either in the morning or evening, it was one of those times and can't remember but that was slightly inconvenient. Like we...

« The cigarette smoke in the hallways was nasty. The women’s onsen is tiny. The room was quite small as well. The staff were amazing and so was the breakfast. Great proximity to restaurants, grocery store and bike store. »

« Parfait. »
