Home Away From Home

My Sister and I came to Joseph for a long weekend. Staying at the Ice Lake condo was a perfect fit for us. We were “wow’d” by the amenities, location and decor. The walking distance to town, the lake and a nice trail was perfect! I would highly recommend this condo and look forward to coming back. How it’s listed is exactly how you will find it! Wonderful!

Comfortable and convenient!

The condo worked out very nicely for our little family for a quick trip! It was a quick drive into town and the lake. We really appreciated the complimentary coffee, teas, and etc! We will definitely stay here again if available!

Fantastic place for the price. Didn't know mattresses came this firm.

Terrific condo as advertised. We had no neighbors, but came off season. Neighborhood was nothing to look at but good view of the mountains and very close to Chief Joseph and Wallowa Lake. Apartment was clean and well stocked. Mattresses were very very firm. I slept fine, girlfriend didn't until stealing comforters from 2nd bed to sleep on top of.

Wonderful Wallowa's visit at Ice Lake condo

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Ice Lake condo - it was very well equipped, spacious, impeccably clean. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, and we intend to stay there again on future trips to the area.

Fun Getaway

We went up to Joseph and Wallowa for a quick overnight trip. This rental was in the perfect spot. Well managed property. Super communication with the owner. Was able to get in 45 minutes early with no hassles. Very clean and well supplied. Would stay here again, no doubt.

The property was spotlessly clean. It was very well stocked with coffee and tea. The property is very spacious excellent for 2 couples or a family of 4. The hosts are excellent communicators and check in was super easy. Overall a great stay.

Lovely place in an amazing location. The hosts thought of everything, including details like earplugs and shower supplies. Would love to be able to stay again. Perfect location centered between the lake and town.

Reserved this for elderly friends. Todd was great help in accommodating them and even provided for their dog. They enjoyed the stay and were able to relax after their long drive.

Lovely stay in Joseph!

We enjoyed our stay in Joseph - appreciating our proximity to town and to the lake. Our host was very welcoming, easy to communicate with, and very responsive. Check in was a breeze too. The property was also very clean and well equipped. For anyone traveling in summer and using a/c just be aware it is a portable unit and can be very loud.

Exploring Joseph Oregon

Had a wonder time at the lake, exploring the town and its history (be sure to stop by the museum), horse back riding with Wallowa Pack Station and the tram ride was beautiful; a must do!. Had a great meal at the Summit Grill, Blyth Cricket and Stubborn Mule ( highly recommend all).

Fantastic!

From the cleanliness to the convenient location, the units were a great choice! And, we could bring our furry friends on top of all the great amenities, such as a kitchen and 2 bedrooms, and access to extra chairs for the lake. We prepared and ate a large breakfast on one morning which has formed a wonderful memory of spending time with our granchildren from North Carolina. We didn't get a chance to use, but there is also a great blender in the kitchen! My son really liked the coffee pods and oatmeal packets provided as a very nice touch. The owners were attentive and looked after us very well with detecting any issues we had and remedying quickly. Above and beyond! Thank you!!!

Nice place well appointed near the lake.

Enjoyed our stay, place was as described. Ran out of hot water in shower after 10 min. Need towel racks in bathroom or hooks. Other than that very good stay, great communication by owners! Lots of farm noises in the morning if you leave windows open.

Great place and fantastic location

The rental was better than the listing. The condo was extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. Todd was very helpful and great to work with. If you're looking for a well appointed two bedroom condo this one is really nice.

Above and beyond!

We loved our stay! The condo was very clean and cozy with some great modern features like digital locks, updated kitchen ammenities, and Netflix. And we especially loved all the extra touches, like the squeaky tennis ball, treats, and bed for our doggo (who is still playing with that ball back in Portland). We arrived at the condo after a few dirty days camping in the Blue Mountains and used it as a home base for exploring the nearby lake, Eagle Cap wilderness, canyons, and parairies. We wanted to come home each night to a hot shower, comfortable bed, and full kitchen and the condo was perfect for our needs. The location is great too. We could easily walk to the lake and the beautiful Iwetemlaykin heritage area, which is a special place that was among other things home to some baby foxes. You could walk downtown easily from the condo too but we always drove. The hosts are local, respinsive, and awesome. They've done a great job curating things to do on their web app, which you get access to after booking and is worth exploring. (The owners also operate Joseph Adventures.) Thanks for the great visit! We'll definitely be back. The only thing that would have made the condo better for our needs would have been a washer and dryer since our stay was part of a longer trip. Not having those did give us an excuse to buy some Wallowas swag though!!!
