The check in/out process was completely remote and the Homestead Modern team was super accessible and responsive. At one point I was just texting them pictures for the fun of it!
Just one noticeable difference, they’ve upgraded the Bluetooth sound system from the JBL. They are now hardwired speakers with a Bluetooth function and are connected directly to the record player.
The collection of records on hand was quite varied though I only recognized three of the names, it was a lovely addition. We’ll definitely bring our own vinyls with us next time.
The Kitchen was very well stocked with a wide variety of pots, pans, cookie sheets and even an immersion blender! Heads up, the Kitchen Faucet is one of those fancy water saving touch ones, that took a hot second to get used to but totally fine. You just tap the faucet to turn it on/off OR use the handle. The stove is a gas stove which was awesome, I don’t care what anyone says gas stoves are better than electric. Literally, only complaint is that the potato peeler was very cheap and didn’t work - not a deal breaker.
We only used the Master Suite as it was just the two of us (plus our Morkie) but the bed was firm and comfy, the pillows were awesomely floofy and the sliding door to the outside made it so nice to step out and stare at the stars in the middle of the night. There is another house about a quarter mile down the road and another half a mile up the road but we felt secluded the whole time. We’ll be back!
