Welcome to this spacious 5-bedroom home in Juneau's Mendenhall Valley, a convenient choice for families and groups looking for room to spread out while exploring Alaska.

The home accommodates up to 9 guests, with the standard rate based on five people. An air mattress can be provided for additional sleeping capacity. A $30 nightly fee applies to each guest beyond five.

### The Home

This nicely remodeled Tudor-style house offers generous shared spaces and a layout designed for group stays. The main floor has an open-concept kitchen, dining, living, and family area where guests can prepare meals, gather, play games, or simply relax.

A separate large TV room has closing doors, allowing guests to create a quieter entertainment area while keeping noise contained.

The property is approximately 2 miles from the famous Mendenhall Glacier and is located along the bike path, with additional trails nearby. Guests can reach the glacier by car or explore the area on foot.

The city bus stop is only steps from the front door, and the property offers ample parking.

### Self Check-In & Stay Details

Self check-in makes late arrivals convenient. Lockbox information will be provided a few days before arrival.

Early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional fee, depending on availability.

### Additional Information

The home has a history of welcoming travelers and long-term residents. Aunt Margaret lived here for more than 30 years and regularly opened her home to people who needed a place to stay. Today, we continue to welcome visitors to Juneau.

Guests have access to the common areas and kitchen, including designated refrigerator storage. The common areas are cleaned regularly, but because the home is actively used by guests, they may not be cleaned immediately before every arrival.

Host Kelli is a co-owner of an Alaska tour company offering more than 25 excursions throughout the state. Guests can receive a 10% discount on qualifying tours.
