Great Family Trip

First impressions... Awesome view, Great facility. The condo was the perfect mix of well maintained grounds with views of the Ocean, Pool and Beach. The condo was a great size for 2 couples and adult children. Walkable to several attractions as well as food, shopping and scooter rentals. The on site staff was super helpful and friendly. Your kitchen was well stocked with appliances and implements. The pools were super clean, the BBQs were plentiful cleaned daily. Just the right mix of fun and relaxation... Simply Amazing!!!

This was probably the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. Joe and Amy’s place was what we imagined- peaceful and quiet. We were able to enjoy the beauty from the balcony that continued to the waters edge and beyond. From snorkeling the shallow reef with turtles and fish to the comforts that felt like home- this was paradise. Thank You so much for sharing this place with us and we hope everything works out for the both of you.

Family vacation

This condo is exactly what we needed for our big family. Besides the condo being perfect the grounds at Papakea are beautiful with everything being walking distance from food trucks, ABC store to a super nice beach just steps away. Thank you Amy for letting us stay there. Hope to see you soon Maui.

The perfect spot for your Maui vacation!

The property exceeded expectations. Location was great - you can walk to some shops and restaurants and there is a food truck area very close to satisfy everyone’s food choices. The Kaanapali resort area is also close so access to the restaurants and entertainment is very convenient as well. The condo is well stocked not only with kitchenware as you’d expect, but also with beach and pool toys and supplies, with putters for the little putting green on property, and with paper and cleaning supplies to get you started for the week. The views from the balcony out to the ocean were beautiful, and allowed us to do some whale watching! We visited during spring break and were told it was a busy week, but never had an issue getting pool or beach chairs when we wanted them. No need to do the silly chair saving that’s necessary at some resorts! Definitely recommend renting a car, but the location was great. It’s about an hr to the start of road to Hana, and about 30 min to the Maalaea harbor area for many boating excursions. We also explored north of the condo and there were some equally amazing spots for beaches, snorkeling and even cliff hiking around a blow hole at the northern most point that shouldn’t be missed. Overall, we had an amazing week with our family group aged 15 to 80! The condo was a perfect base for all of our adventures. The location, convenience, comfort and friendliness made this a great choice and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again on our next trip to Maui!!

Amazing view

We loved this condo and the location. The view was amazing, we could watch the whales breaching from the balcony. We saw sea turtles & monk seals on the little beach. Loved the amenities, the pool & hot tub really hit the spot after a day of sight-seeing. We can't wait to come back.

Fantastic Condo in Paradise

Inside the property is exactly as shown in the images and as described. Two bedrooms plus the loft with another three beds was plenty of room for the five of us with our adult children. Kitchen had all the dished, pots and pans plus a variety of oil and spices. Coolers, boogie boards, beach chairs came in handy and saved us from having to buy them. The grounds were great as well. Lawn chairs on the ocean wall and with the two different pools and hot tubs it was never over crowded. Used the BBQ once and that was great as well. Pickable courts, tennis courts, shuffle board, putting range provided other activities. Grocery store and restaurants plus a food truck courtyard all within close walking distance. Only thing I would call out is there is another $17 per day grounds fee the property charges when you check in, relatively cheap but a bit of a surprise. Highly recommend the condo, the complex and will definately consider again if/when we go back to Maui.

Very Nice Property

We had a bit of check-in difficulty due to our late arrival time, but once we were checked in it was fine. Nice property in a great location. Beautiful ocean views. Well equipped kichen. I would recommend this property.

Beautiful stay

We loved the property and location. Was just far enough out of all the hustle and bustle but close enough to get everywhere we wanted. The kids loved the pool and the house had all the amenities needed. We grilled several nights at the pool BBQs which was a happy surprise for us.

Graduation trip

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Papakea. We had 6 adults (me, my husband, two “kids” aged 18 and 20, and my sister-in-law and brother in-law). The layout was great and the location was wonderful! The view from the lanai was one of our favorite things🏝️🏊‍♀️🌊 The only request would be to upgrade the mattresses in the bedrooms as they were very soft. Overall, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great Resort - Perfect Loction

This is our 2nd time as family visiting Papakea and we LOVE this resort. It's the perfect location but yet not overly crowded. It's right off main highway for easy access to Lahaina, Safeway, and much more!! This condo was perfect for the 8 of us ... one thing we did notice though was on the main description of condo it stated it was "full AC" however we noticed the AC would not be felt throughout as well as we hope for. The 2 bedrooms had to leave doors open at night for AC to be felt. Otherwise we LOVE this resort & condo - thanks for the great stay!!

Nice location

The place was great. It was stocked with all the extra stuff that is useful to use around the island. The view and access to the ocean was wonderful. The only downside was the bedrooms stayed warm during the evening even with the use of fans (we were there during the summer).

A warm place away from AK

The Lanai boasted a spectacular view that left us in awe. The condo was spacious, tidy, and conveniently located close to a lot of attractions. During our snorkeling adventure near the sea wall, we were delighted to spot a multitude of fish. This place had everything for our first Hawaiian vacation. We will be back!

Maui Getaway

The condo was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect — walking distance to the beach and a grocery store across the street. The property had everything we needed — great kitchen, comfortable beds, beach towels and chairs, washer and dryer, air conditioning, and best of all … a beautiful ocean view! We swam in the pool every afternoon and used the poolside grills for a delicious salmon dinner. The grounds at the Papakea Resort are immaculately kept, and we felt very safe and secure during our stay. Our family enjoyed every minute of our vacation, and we hope to return sometime in the future! Amy and Joe, thank you for letting us experience the Aloha Spirit. Mahalo! 😃

Wonderful Family Getaway!

This condo had everything we could need and more! The room configuration was perfect as I had my mother and father, my adult son his wife and baby and my two teens. The location was perfect and the view was amazing! Every morning started with a cup of coffee out on the lanai looking out to the ocean, and every evening keeping the windows open listening to the sounds of the ocean. Amy, the owner, checked in to make sure everything was okay with the property which I thought was such a thoughtful thing to do. Our family can’t always be together as my son and his family live in a different state so being together in paradise made for extra special memories!

The property was everything we wanted/ needed for our vacation.

The property was in a great location. Beautiful views of the ocean as well the grounds. Spacious enough for our party of 3 couples. The unit was supplied with the essentials as well as outdoor equipment ( boggie boards, putting clubs, etc.) We would definitely recommend this property!!
