I reserved one family room 2 nights for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) including additional breakfast for 4 via the hotels.com website. When we checked in, the hotel asked me to pay for the 2 kids breakfast at a high price. I told them that I had reserved with breakfast through hotels.com but they said the kids breakfast was not included so we had to pay a substantial extra amount. I told hotels.com and after a long, complicated process during our family vacation hotels.com offered to reimburse the breakfast. It happened at another hotel in Japan also.and so am still waiting to hear back on that one.
