The staff were great and very helpful . The room was ok however only one lift was working during our stay there so it was very inconveniencing especially for people on the upper floors .

One of the elevators was out and so the entire hotel was trying to use one. Also, the air conditioning doesn’t get as cold as other properties. It’s a nice place, but it’s about average for what you would expect

The property is clean and well managed. Breakfast is also delicious. There are two aspects that could benefit from improvement: firstly, the receptionists could benefit from training to enhance their customer service and friendliness; and secondly, similar to other services, the gym hours could be extended until 11 pm.

This is a great property. I have stayed there a number of times and my.past experiences were great. I even turned down offers from higher rated properties. This trip I was unfortunate. My Room AC didn't work properly and the pillows were uncomfortable so i ended up with a pain in the neck

Nice hotel
It was a good and comfortable stay. They have good options in food for Indian to American items. Overall nice hotel in the city centre. Good gym too for health lovers.

Great hotel in the heart of Kampala. Modern and clean rooms, helpful staff. We asked for take-away breakfast which was ready in time and as we asked. We also had dinner in the hotel which was really good too.

I booked this hotel based on reviews on hotel.com and also pics on google. From the moment I checked in to checkout everything was perfect. There rooms look exactly as the pictures on their website, very clean hotel, friendly staff and good breakfast. I loved my stay there and I will be coming back in a few months. I especially liked the security they have. Everyone entering hotel has to go through metal detector and bags have to go through scanner. In addition, you need a room card to operate elevator to rooms. So that stops any unwanted visitors. This place is beautiful

I stayed at the Golden Tulip Kampala for 2 nights on a business trip recently. I would have give it an excellent rating other than the poor check-in experience, which perhaps was more due to the individual checking me in and hopefully a once-off thing. Other than that the experience was excellent. The room was spacious, clean, well appointed, good bed and linen and topping all a nice balcony with views of the city. Breakfast was good and so was the bar dinner.
