Lanikai is in Wailua on Kauai's east side, where Lae Nani Beach is just steps away and the shoreline is part of the daily rhythm. Walk to the Coconut Marketplace for coffee, groceries, and casual meals, then follow the coast toward Kapa'a for the Ke Ala Hele Makalae coastal path. Wailua River, waterfalls, and the lush interior are close enough for an easy morning adventure, while the beach and pool make it just as easy to stay put.



Getting Around:

Kapaa sits along Kauai's Royal Coconut Coast, about 15 to 20 minutes from Lihue Airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring the island, though the main strip along Kuhio Highway is walkable, with beaches, shops, restaurants, and the popular coastal path all within easy reach on foot. Grocery stores and casual dining are close by. Parking is generally available at condos and along the street, making this an easy, low stress base.
