This is an amazing and unique property. We were 3 generations staying so the fact there’s upstairs, downstairs and outdoor living space works great. The large property, pond, fire pit, pedal boat, kayaks and paddle board kept us outside much of the time even though the house is large, clean and well equipped. Thanks to the great hosts!

Our weeks holiday has been a true paradise at Bruce and Marylou's property. EVERYTHING was perfection from young to old. This cottage is so charming and you definitely feel away from reality, perfect to unwind, relax and enjoy nature's beauty. Wonderful family stay

This property was fantastic for our family's summer cottage getaway - lots of space and great layout inside and out. Lake was a bit too weedy for swimming off the dock but the pond was a great alternate option. Hosts were responsive and helpful - we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and make some wonderful family memories. Thank you Mary Lou!

Lovely Getaway

An amazing property with lots of room both inside and outside to enjoy a family holiday. Very clean, everything you needed was available at the cottage. Host is very responsive. Overall, an excellent place to stay!

Family cottage week

We had a wonderful family vacation. Property was private. Lots of room for indoor and outdoor activities. The lake has lots of moss so we swam in the pond. This huge lake is perfect for fishing. The owner of the cottage was very friendly and easy to reach out to. Answered our questions quickly. Overall a fun week even when we had a full day of rain!

Beautiful lakefront property

The property and house are beautiful and spacious. It was more than big enough for the 8 of us. Everything we needed was available and well organized. Having access to the canoe/kayaks/etc. was very nice, and I really like the fire pit and location for a campfire. My only complaint is that the listing says there's a hot tub, but there is not. We were specifically looking for a place that had one, so this was quite disappointing. But overall it was an enjoyable stay and a great place.

Gorgeous place to spend time with friends and family

I cannot put into words of how gorgeous this place is. Everything was clean when we arrived, and the host contacted me to ensure that the check in was smooth. They have everything you need and plus some. I will recommend my friends to visit this place. Easy to find, quiet, and just a beautiful place to have fun.

Fishing and frogs!

The property and accommodations were great. We enjoyed our family get away and ate all our meals out on the deck with a view of the lake! The house is well equipped and the beds are very comfy. The only unfortunate downside was that the pond is not swimmable this year and we had really looked forward to that! The kids enjoyed the Sandy beach and exploring for frogs- just were not able to fully enjoy the water.

Great week close to home so travel was easy. Great host's and Buddy and his family kept us entertained. Host's where very close by so were easy to get hold of but we had no issues everything was as advertised thanks again for helping our family have a wonderful holiday

Absolutely amazing!

This property was gorgeous! It might easily be one of our favourites. The inside of the cottage was very spacious and tastefully decorated. MaryLou was very quick in answering all my questions and made our stay very comfortable. I will highly recommend anyone who wants to get together with many generations! Everyone will have their own space and things to do.

Sister's Weekend 2022.

We had a group of 11 people, myself and 3 sisters and our daughters. There was plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor spaces are amazing. kitchen is well appointed and stocked with everything you need. The house was spotless and the bedrooms were inviting. Our group really had a great time. Our host, MaryLou was very helpful, quick to answer questions and provided all the necessary information before checkin. Great experience.

Wonderful stay, great experience!

We were thrilled with how clean the cottage. Yard was well maintained. Beautiful view over looking the lake. Nice screened in porch. Upper deck with seating. Seating on the dock and around outdoor fire pit. Recycling/garbage area well organized. Bedding could have been a bit more substantial for cooler night, most had thin cotton quilts. Waterfront a bit weedy at the shore. But overall a great spot!

Enjoyable!

My family and I spent a week and found it to be clean and accommodating! They supplied everything you could imagine and the home was tastefully done. We had a great time! The only thing that was somewhat disappointing was the lake. It was full of weeds and not suitable for swimming. However, the kids did play in the pond. I highly recommend this home.

Great family vacation

We rented the place for a week for the extended family including 6 kids. We had a great time. The cottage was roomy and nicely updated. The cottage and property had lots of room and activities for the kids. Even enough space for the parents and grandparents to enjoy once the kids were a sleep. Mary Lou was so nice and helpful.

One of a kind indeed!

Fun time!

We made a lot of fun memories! The children were non stop fishing,swimming and kayaking!! It was all available at their finger tips so they were well entertained making it a very wonderful vacation for even us as parents to 5 children!😉

First Family Vacay Since Covid

We had a FANTASTIC stay here! There were so many things to do between the canoes, kayaks, peddle boat, and swimming pond. It was great to have the privacy that this property provides while still being close enough to Orillia to take advantage of things like Kawartha Dairy and Costco! The house itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It was very helpful to have all the basic cooking and baking utensils and appliances available in the kitchen, and the coffee drinkers in our group loved having access to a Keurig! It was really easy to get a hold of the owners and they were really helpful to answer any questions we had. All in all, it was a great trip that had the kids (and adults) in the group wondering why we had to leave!

Great place and great owners!

Stayed with my family, parents, siblings and their families. Everyone had an amazing time! The pond was great for the kids to fish and swim. Bruce and Mary Lou were fantastic hosts. The cottage was recently renovated and it is very well done. Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent Family Vacation

Our family friend group usually goes on an annual camping trip and this year we decided the rent a cottage as one of the people in the group was pregnant. We had such a great experience and everything was as expected! Every communication with the owners was pleasant and they answered all our questions and took care of our every need. We had such a great time that this may be our new annual tradition.
